I’m somewhat of an OSU fan, and frankly it’s gotten old stomping a subpar Michigan team every single year. I honestly half stopped watching it. It’s great that Michigan is good again, great for our neighbors up north, and great for the rivalry.
@@bannedbycommieyoutube5time920 as a Michigan fan, that's fair. We have to do our part to keep it competitive. And as of late, we have not. We still have the longest win streak in the series. Nice username btw.

It revenge on ohio state football fans ; they are very arrogant and cocky:; Michigan football victory over Ohio state football keeps them quiet for awhile:: wait until next year 2022;; beat Ohio state in basketball ; hockey 🏒; baseball ⚾️;; etc etc
As a Michigan fan I didn’t take much stock in the 2020 season. I didn’t feel it was a reflection of where the team was or could be. There were too many extraordinary circumstances that occurred
Exactly.....they weren't a 2-4 team, obviously. BUT they did QUIT during the season and during specific games. So this miraculous turnaround is still valid because to turnaround a 2-4 mindset to 11-1 is outstanding. It is MICHIGAN......they "remembered" who they were......M I C H I G A N. MEEEEECHIGAN! @@kryptokc3800 Also agree, last year shouldn’t have even been played or count, as both comments above me mentioned the circumstances completely different and couple of our best players opted-out
We don't have a college football team in my area. When I was a little guy , they were the first team on at 12, with Keith Jackson calling the games...Desmond and Charles got me started...I could have rooted for anyone I chose them and I'm grateful and proud to be a wolverine fan
I’m not crying. There are too many onions in the room. My Dad put a Michigan Football in my crib so I get it. I met Lloyd Carr as a High School Senior and met Sam Sword and Chris Floyd from the ‘97 team.Ever since, I’ve been a die hard fan. This is so special.
I was lucky enough to see this team play at the Big House twice this season. The atmosphere at the Big House is something you can’t really describe but it is SPECIAL. CMON JIMMY BEAT GEORGIA
I love that Mr. Brightside has become our song. When everyone was singing it at the end of the Iowa game and it wasn’t even playing on the speakers was really special and shows what everyone thinks of this team!!!
Here's a diff comment from a Mich fan...... this video was moving & very well put together. I found myself feeling goosebumps hearing the fans cheer with all their love for Mich. I found myself smiling for the team camaraderie & their love each other. I found myself feeling pride to see the players play for the coach, play for the fans, play for the alumni, play for the......University of Michigan! To the fans singing their heart out Mr Brightside & waiving the maize to make the atmosphere unforgettable quite simply brought the proudest tear to my eyes.
I have been a Wolverine from day one. I moved to MN as a kid, but knew I would be back as Wolverine. I was there during Desmond's Heisman win and the Fab Five run in The NCAA Tournament. I am proud everyday to say I am a Michigan Wolverine (even in the not so good years), but this is special to witness. Go Blue!
As a lifelong Alabama fan, this is so amazing. Seeing how much this program has grown after all of the s-talk and seeing how devoted that fan base was during the end is so amazing. Michigan deserves to go to the national championship, they have worked so hard to get here.
“Michigan would not in fact go to the national championship, as their poorly coached team would give up 51 points to Texas Christian University, who would go on to lose the national championship game by 55 points” “And that son, is the story of how John Harbaugh would never win a playoff game” *Closes book, turns off fireplace, screen fades to black, credits roll*
@@reneethornton9734 very well, considering that this was about last years game. And everyone knows this year has a massive asterisk next to it (assuming the NCAA doesn’t make them vacate)
Michigan is the cleanest running program for the past 50+years for everything going on in this country to have such an honorable team win like they did this year is just more than a game for this state and country..
I'm convinced JJ could be Heisman next year he makes crazy plays all around the field. Hes more explosive then any QB in the country and hes our back up lol
This season has been memorable; I’ll remember it for the rest of my life, 30 years old and 6 when we shared the National Championship in ‘97. I can only hope it gets even better!
Ive been a Michigan fan since 1977 and I can assure you one thing. It doesn't get any better than this year, not even the 1997 national championship. enjoy this ride my friend. GO BLUE!!!!
One thing I can genuinely say is, I'm not a fair weather fan. The heart of this team and the true fans in unmatched and unparalleled. My family has been Michigan fans since I was a baby and I spent a lot of time in Ann Arbor at U of M hospital when I was a baby all the way until I was 13. Countless surgeries. Check ups. So, my love for Michigan runs very deep. And I can't honestly say that still backing them even when they aren't at their best makes victories like that against Ohio State so fucking sweet. It's so great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
I’m a Buckeye fan, but I truly am impressed with the season the Wolverines have had this year. I’m believed this had to be the year Michigan had to beat OSU, and it was. I’ve gained respect for a few Michigan players, starting with Blake Corum and Heisman Finalist Aidan Hutchinson. But Michigan’s off the field impact is so cool, I believe sometimes their are moments bigger than rivalries. There are moments where we must be one in standing together and the way Jim Harbaugh is giving his bonus to those on the staff affected by COVID, taught me why he’s “The Michigan Man”. Good Luck in the Playoff Michigan, go represent the Big Ten and Jordan Brand.
@@BigEmPe I always wish for OSU to beat MSU. But that’s the only time I want OSU to win a game!! Go Blue, and respect to some cool rival fans out there

I’ve rewatched this every year since my freshman year at Michigan (2021) at the end of every season. Well, we just won the national championship. GO BLUE FOREVER!!

Born at u of m, had to rock with them since. 31 years later this is the best season i ever witnessed. In 97' the media and polls knew michigan was for real, this year they came from nowhere
My dad always taught me to love Michigan as a kid. He always talks about how he remembers Michigan beating Ohio State almost every year and being an absolutely dominant team. I never have truly experienced that feeling until now. It feels like a dream has become reality. Through the hard times, the good times, and every other in between, ITS GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE. I love my Wolverines with a passion and I will never stop. GO BLUE!

This video literally gave me chills. I have been a lifelong fan of Michigan football. I was there for the Lloyd Carr years when times were good. I was also there for the RichRod and Brady Hoke years when times were bad. This season has been so satisfying to watch and made so much sweeter after suffering for so many years. Good job guys and keep going! Go blue! Beat those Bulldogs!

It just gives this team fuel Hail to the Victor's and go blue. I had tears rolling down my face when we won yhe big ten. Been a fan through it all. The Carr Era. The richrod Era the hoke Era. The 7 years of waiting for Harbaugh to bring us back. But every year I never missed a game. Never once doubtful in any game. Always had hope.
I have been full of doubt over the years even this year but I've never stopped watching. I said I'll believe it when they beat Ohio state. That first drive they scored I said to myself, "something is different this time" they're moving the ball and moving it well.
No one gave them a chance this year, even some Michigan fans. This year is truly a legendary season for Michigan and hopefully this isn’t a one season wonder.

The game will be won in the trenches and those backs won’t do what you hope/believe they’ll do. There’s a reason the players playing for Georgia made it to Georgia and the players playing for Michigan had to settle for playing for Michigan. It’s called a recruiting and talent gap. It exists.

@@ne6764 I read your comment after I posted mine. Seems like many of us felt nearly identical. Go Blue!
Watching this the day after we (UofM) beat OSU in the Horseshoe is special. The new era of the rivalry has begun once again! Some era's are tough with lots of back and forth, some are full of sadness, others are full of joy. To the new era! Go Blue!!!
The best part of the season. Ojabo sacking Stroud to make it 4th and long. And hearing. OH-JA-BO. Go Blue, Fuck Ohio

As a Michigan fan I didn’t take much stock in the 2020 season. I didn’t feel it was a reflection of where the team was or could be. There were too many extraordinary circumstances that occurred
Easy to say that now
Agreed, so many players opted out or were injured. In the middle of a pandemic you really can’t take that as representative.

16:08 How often do you see a QB running out to pick up a block? This team is special.
Massive Russell Wilson energy.
I was lucky enough to see this team play at the Big House twice this season. The atmosphere at the Big House is something you can’t really describe but it is SPECIAL. CMON JIMMY BEAT GEORGIA
I'm sorry.
This is absolutely a-Maize-ing! I cried, I yelled... what an emotional video! SO proud of this team. On to the Orange Bowl! GO BLUE!
I’m an Oregon Fan, but this almost made me cry tears of joy for this group! Makes me want to go for Michigan! The fans must feel amazing!
Thanks for this !! This means so damn much to us! We needed this and wanted it more than anyone !! Go blue !! Big 10 champs!!
Go Blue!
IT'S GREAT TO BE..A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE...Go Blue!!!
@@Yagerbomb2121 how great?
As a lifelong Alabama fan, this is so amazing. Seeing how much this program has grown after all of the s-talk and seeing how devoted that fan base was during the end is so amazing. Michigan deserves to go to the national championship, they have worked so hard to get here.
As an Ohio state fan we know that every college hates us
“Michigan would not in fact go to the national championship, as their poorly coached team would give up 51 points to Texas Christian University, who would go on to lose the national championship game by 55 points”
“And that son, is the story of how John Harbaugh would never win a playoff game”

I'm convinced JJ could be Heisman next year he makes crazy plays all around the field. Hes more explosive then any QB in the country and hes our back up lol
Looked kinda trash against UGA ngl
This season has been memorable; I’ll remember it for the rest of my life, 30 years old and 6 when we shared the National Championship in ‘97. I can only hope it gets even better!
Ive been a Michigan fan since 1977 and I can assure you one thing. It doesn't get any better than this year, not even the 1997 national championship. enjoy this ride my friend. GO BLUE!!!!
If the 2021 Michigan Wolverines Football team won it all, would you put them above the 1997 team?
One thing I can genuinely say is, I'm not a fair weather fan. The heart of this team and the true fans in unmatched and unparalleled. My family has been Michigan fans since I was a baby and I spent a lot of time in Ann Arbor at U of M hospital when I was a baby all the way until I was 13. Countless surgeries. Check ups. So, my love for Michigan runs very deep. And I can't honestly say that still backing them even when they aren't at their best makes victories like that against Ohio State so fucking sweet. It's so great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
I'm 38 and after winning in 97 I never thought Michigan would hit tough times like they have, but I never wavered. Hail To The Victor's
As a Michigan fan, Thank you. That means a lot. As long as you're always rooting for us when we play MSU. We can get along just fine.
To me personally I take the MSU rivalry more to heart because its a bragging right, and ownership of our state lol.
Well put! Thank you. And I'm a Irish fan.
