Bila dgr joe cerita buat sa teingat zaman sa start dgr lagu2 UG sekitar 94,95,96 masa masih d bangku sekola rendah..sehinggala masuk show sekitar 97/98..dari sana berkembang sehingga main band, tubuhkan distro sehinggala jadi organiser.❤❤❤
This is a great job despite some of the defects. Reminds me of my uni days, when I did a documentary about the raid at Paul's Place for Sociology class, late 2000s. People interviewed included Paul himself and Azmyl Yunor. Masa tu isu black metal masih hangat in mainstream media. Unfortunately I never thought to upload on RUclips at that time, I just wanted to prove to my lecturer wrong (Sharaad Kuttan, now BFM DJ) because he thought I was a lazy student who skips classes haha. But now the video is gone forever. Could've used a decent clip-on mic here but it's not too bad. Hope you guys keep all your work on RUclips so that you will look back in 10-15 years later and feel proud of what you did here.
@@jamesqudus8688 Impossible, I already tried looking not long after I graduated. None of my teammates or even Sharaad kept a copy. It survives only in my memory now, whether people believe it happened or not.
The flyer days. Nostalgic sekejap. Whenever we write letters to our friends, whatever flyers we got, semua kasi masuk dalam itu sampul surat. An endless chain of flyer distribution. Cannot be understated how important flyers are to the scene when all you got were handwritten letters as your main medium of comm. Telefon ke luar negeri nanti bil mahal. Dan macam Joe cakap, all these were done by actual teenage kids. Kids decided to start bands, kids decided to organize gigs and shows, kids decided to start fanzines and distros. Semua budak-budak. Tulis lirik atau fanzine pakai bahasa inggeris broken pun peduli apa, it didnt fuss nobody and everybody was celebrated. Cheers. Then.. came the Politically Correct era.
joe kid hell yeah, boo hoo is the songs yang wajib dimain kan of all the kids at that era.thats where i start of becoming and get serious into punk movement.best kerbau cafe, bau bau,and it was gig there dewan annex.lots of kid coming there, perform while going to the cafe, rindu sangat saat2 itu,and punks and other subculters is everywhere on the bukit bintang streets.best moment ever of my life.dan sejarah kita juga lack of documentation sejak dijajah british.but now it reveals slowly.tq for interviewing joe kid,so we all know what hes doing right now and to know deeply about him and his works.the best..!!.
