darbhanga airport terminal with a built-up area of 59,222 sq. m. and 5 aerobridges and 6 aditional plane parking apron will enable the airport to handle a traffic demand of 4.2 million passengers per annum (mppa). 52 acres of land was acquired for permanent terminal building the project by the Bihar Government in 2023
