While Kyle McLaughlin is no Edward Hermann he is a good President Roosevelt. As I have stated many times before I an enjoying this show.

I never did enjoy studying WWW I and WWW II in school, but this show highlights a different view of what was going on in the US at the time. President Roosevelt (Franklin) had a Huge undertaking. He beared the burden of the Great Depression and it's fallout. The rise of Nazi Germany, Bombing of Pearl Harbor all while enduring the affliction of Polio. No matter what, he stood tall and proud. He was bold and brave. For that I say...Thank you.

I love this series. But the worst part of it is the relationship between FDR and Martha. She was totally in love with her husband and he creeps on her - it’s nauseating. And in the latest episode, she seems to have been caught in his web.
I understand the Norwegians are up in arms how this is being portrayed and who can blame them.
It would have been much better if they portrayed it as a close friendship- instead it’s just disgusting- he is 20 years older than her and her husband is so hot!!
