They definitely had an advantage from their tech. A lot comes down to play style though. The Romulans take a bit of skill and planning to make use of their strengths where a faction like the Klingons can be a lot more new player friendly as you kind of just point them in a direction and shoot. Of the original factions, I kind of preferred the Klingons for their simplicity and aggressiveness, at least until the Cardassians came out. I'm a sucker for spoonheads despite their flaws in the game.
@@Trueflights I like the Klingons but I rarely ever play them due to them being unable to retreat which is a thing I often do in my play style. The Romulans like you said need to be patient and then once they have a few projects done that give them a huge advantage go mop the floor with the rivals The Klingons actually have a weakness to the Romulans since there’s nothing they can do about advanced cloaking although they can exhaust there first strike at least
Very good video, I hope the Empire will reform and spans the galaxy in a few millennia.
Romulans are my favorite race from Star Trek. So happy theyre a tech heavy faction as well as thats usually how I like to play :)
They have that annoying thing where all their trade agreements come exhausted, but even that is fitting because of their distrust of other races.
Great videos
Thanks
I think until the Jem’hadar were added the Romulans were easily the strongest faction in the game for there tech alone

Romulans remind me of a Tech Race faction.

I'm sorry if it bothers you.
