After having watched episode 3 when they found Makayla walking in the street by herself, I’m so happy to know Kim decided to adopt her. Especially since she was very comfortable with her and Adam. I think that episode was was very foreshadowing.
You can see in Adams face he is happy Burgess choose him as a Makeyla's custodian.
Hopefully soon they will go back together.

Like every couple they go through ups and downs and it's tv and they are cops with a really high level, stressful job them still having the connection they have shows nothing can keep them apart and it's not like they are horrible to each other, other ppl have gotten into their way especially Roman he gave her trust issues with Adam by even mentioning about her getting engaged to another cop, it started the whole thing and she mostly more than him has tried other relationships and she can't stay away from him and the same for him. She had a lapse in judgement and him being upset with her made her realize she was wrong. After him taking care of Makayla I don't think she will have that trust issue anymore. I think season 9, they will be stronger and on the same page for the first time in a lonnggg time. They are endgame and family like Kim said when she was pregnant and with Makayla m

@@houseofmystery This is just like the episode of Chicago Fire when Matthew Casey and Gabby Dawson found little boy who belongs to someone else who didn't do background check like finding his family or his bio dad they shouldn't adopt Louie he has support system his dad and his entire family they care Louie. Casey and Dawson are selfish for not listening. But in Chicago PD they are doing it again this time Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess saw little girl but they should not adopt her and didn't look up to his family and his parents and didn't look up his biological uncle and aunt they have law on their side Kim did not win custody of Makayla and got her into danger and didn't get inspector to inspect her living arrangement 1 apartment with 1 room with Kim and Adam went personal trespassing Makayla's uncle and aunt house. They are cops with guns It is dangerous to use that and her uncle has the right to see his niece at school there is no restraining order for the uncle

I think they just want to introduce him slowly. Like how Mouse showed up a couple times before working in intelligence, or Upton as well. I think they'll bring him in once in a while when intelligence needs him and then eventually make him a real member
@@meikeschmidt5229 maybe, but it has been like 4-5 episodes we did not see him, that's not slow, I think he's out too. They are planning this BIG season finale, there are photos of the wrap (no sign of him), IMO, they will add a new character in the next season (don't think it will be him).
Possibly trying out different story lines & see if viewers like the character. Acting wise the job is probably temp until it's not. Maybe the actors got a permanent gig or movie.

If you are referring to the whole in Kim’s jacket, it is a bullet hole. They keep going to the jacket because it showed that she could’ve died, also because it’s what Kim is always thinking about she could’ve died and she trusts Adam to take care of Makayla if she died.

This is my main problem with these prime time night time soap operas. I don't do bed hopping in real life cause im germaphobic like that and nothing skeeves me out more than melrose place bed swapping. Ugh.
I like that chief bodens wife is not on cast. Herman's wife is barely shown. I like that trouch works on 2 diff shows. But not INTRAshow, not within the show. But within the Chicago one franchise. Sylvie dated Anthony dawson. April and severide hooked up. But sylvie dating former bffs ex husband, her coworker? Too messy and low class. Haley ruzek burgess halstead is gross. And thank bob they removed rojas because forcing her and kevin, the two pocs....smh. i dont mind hank and nicole ari parker's characters. She doesn't work with intelligence.
They had a just gotten a new showrunner when Ruzek and Hailey were together. Worst mistake. They weren't good together and I hate that they forced it because it was secretly kept and especially hurt Kim. And when they even knew themselves that they were in love with other ppl. Hailey already had feelings for Jay and we know for Adam it's always been Kim. The actor, Patrick didn't even like the story line. That to me was so out.of character for Adam.

Yes, Kim and Adam were driving and bantering like an old married couple lol and she was walking across the street, her while family was killed and she went to live with her aunt and a few episodes later Kim and Adam are at child services for a case and Makayla runs up to and hugs her and she decides to take her for a while
Some things happen in the next several episodes and in the 13 episode she adopts her and we'll the clip shows the rest

I agree with Sylvie and Matt, it's so forced and Sylvie has been with her ex bffs brother and now ex husband, it's just betrayal also Hailey and Jay have no chemistry, also forced

They got together in the 2nd season (I think - around then anyway) and then while she was still on patrol her partner got into her head about his previous engagement and him not wanting the wedding / marriage, only the engagement and ever since then they’ve been on and off (unofficially) I think they were eventually sleeping together exclusively but without the conversation of what they were and then they got pregnant but she lost it. They edge closer and closer every episode to going back there but neither of them wants a repeat of what happened etc and are scared, especially after what happened with Adam and the shooting. They’ve been remarked before from a producer or actor (I can’t remember) as a married couple but not married with the love they still have for each other and everything they’ve been through but have yet to make it official again, they mentioned them beginning to date again in a previous episode but once Kim brought in Michaela it shifted everything and put it almost on hold for now at least

Adam isn’t liking how Burgess wants to take care of Makayla like she’s her mother, the only thing that he loves is still each other, but not a child 🧒.
I don't think that's true, like Kim said, they were supposed to have a baby together so she at least got a glimpse of how he already cared for the unborn child and was excited. He does want to be a father at some point so I don't her choice is understandable. We also already saw him interact with Makayla when they both stayed with her at the safe house and it was only a short scene but they seemed natural around each other. He didn't like the idea of Kim taking in Makayla because he thought that Kim was trying to replace what they've lost but he sees now that that wasn't the case, Kim really felt a connection to the girl and that's why she took her in.

No, she was pregnant from Ruzek but the unborn child died unfortunately. And now she adopted Makayla, a girl whose family was murdered but she isn't a baby anymore, she's like 9 years old or something☺️

I can't believe I didn't think of Kevin. He's always had her back! For sure, Kevin would be a great choice too! But with their past engagement & losing their own baby they kind of have a deeper bond with eachother. Although with the dangerous profession they have & the exclusive dangers of being in Intelegance they are all exceptionally bonded to eachother. Let Trudy do it! 😹😹She's tough but great with kids
