@Aegon Breakspear Yes you're right. They comingled with Mongolians and created a community which is now what we know as Russia. There were also evidence that they fought with Romans.

Nicely done, you have Hungarian, Mongolian or Turkish bows from cavalry nations, ... in ottoman empire the record was from, ""Tozkoparan"" Iskender still valid today 846-metres,46 cm.... although 750 meters and 800 meters was almost normal... Nice! You can hear the whole set-up working together. Bow, string, arrow, the sound of efficiency. I could imagine, 20 archers, zinging off even a few. What a deadly rain that would be, for any infantry.
This guy told me that he can shoot an apple off his own head. Blindfolded. Arrow looks like a half moon. I asked him to show me, but he said he didn't have the time. Plus it takes a special bow and he left it at home.
Did you then run down range to see where the arrow landed, and then have the presence of mind to claim that you hit exactly whatever it was you were aiming at?
I'm not an arrow specialist, but shouldn't the arrow be on the left side of the bow if he's right handed? If I were to shoot it, I would rest it on the left for comfort and flight.

You joke but we actually did do this. Just aim to the left a bit...
We can neither confirm or deny the accuracy of the shot
First thought 😂
u can see the arrow tryed to spin and lost a good deal of energy in the video
Cool video, I was able to schedule my next doctor's appt. while I waited for the flight.
😂😂😂😂
Nice, I actually took a flight while waiting for the flight, across state.
And get the test results 🤣
Great comment.
iam not satisfied until i see the target 😂😂😂😂
Agree, was his goal to hit a building?
there is no target.... it's like the golf driving range.. they are just sending arrows for distance
You need to watch carefully for a white dot at a distance, that's what I saw falling after arrow hit it
Don't you see the meadow because of the many blades of grass?
The target is there, watch for the white pixel.
by the time he took the shot, the horse closed the distance and he took a saber to the face. :)
Never seen cavalry’s on flight competitions
By then the archers next to him have covered the cavalry with their own arrows. No one fights alone.
@@ChrisAllen-hh3xo Even armor you are fucked. Archers are deadly man. Those things will find the gaps and go right through mail.
Well if we’re going right out of context, i guess by the time that horse closed the distance the claymore would have armed and the 12 gauge loaded

They used 180lb longbows back in the day but this was rare and would need some massive strength in the arms and back.

Indeed. In The 100 Hundred Years War, an english bowman was expected to shoot at least 12 arrows against the french cavalry charges.
I swear, as soon as he pulled back the bow I thought I was not gonna be able to see the arrow! The way it hit the ground was amazing!
I filmed myself hitting a golf ball 743 yards. Of course it was just a side shot of me Swinging and hitting the ball

Nearly 1km from a bow? Thats crazy
Just the fact he can pull that to a full drawer makes me not want to be catching those arrows 💯
The best part of this content are his haircut and that sweet ass belt.
