In hindsight, brenda was treacherous. Sharon and the legal way sharon 'closed' cases wouldn't lead to the lawsuit brenda brought on. Say what you will about that shady lawyer who represented the baylor family, but the examples he brought showing the skulduggery brenda used, the way brenda constantly lied to fritz to get her way, the way brenda didn't have time for her parents, her 'drive' to always close *her* case, etc...made brenda less likeable.
I like how everyone on chef Johnson squad started to like captain Ryder side and you can see on chef Johnson if I don't like captain Ryder none of you should like her too🤣
