The boost gap is what typically identifies a 'heavy multirole' for me. If there is a high boost with relatively low cruise speed, coupled with air to ground ordinance, it's a multirole.
Ever since I saw the first video you put out on this and the subsequent videos that featured it, I new when it became available again, I needed to grab one ... and I did.
Great video! It gave us quite a lot of useful information. Hope I can get my hands on the P-82B one day.
Is this game worth starting now? I really want to start a new game but I can’t decide between world of warplanes or war thunder. Is the grind alright because I really want to get the spitfire for Britain?
why not both? they are free to play so no loss except time, but as my parents always told me, video games are a waste of time anyways... lolz
I do not have the Twin Mustang but I do have the BVP 203. If you have played tanks and have the Skorpion G TD that just prints Credits. That is what the BVP 203 does it prints its own credits. Cant speak for the Twin Mustang it may as well.
This is the 3rd time the Twin Mustang was available (not 2nd). The 2nd time is was available in the march Holiday creates as a prize. That is how I got mine. This is however the 2nd time it is available for outright purchase. This is by far my favorite Heavy Fighter with 14 fifty cals mounted in the centerline, 10 rockets and 2 bombs. It melts bombers and other Heavies with ease and I have been able to flip a mining plant with the ordinance loadout.
Already have the P-82. Love it. A great tier 8 american MultiRole. Mary Lockeheart's favorite plane ; D
Skipped out on the BV.203 when it came out.
I already had a Do335 in tier 8 so i didnt see the need to have a tier 8 Me 410
(especially when i have the very fun actual Me 410)
AND the XP-58 as well. I r e a l l y didnt need yet another tier 8 heavy premium.
Still it DOES look like a fun bird to have access to.
Wikipedia informs me that the Twin mustang was build in the numbers of 272 units. But yeah this oddity actually was used quite a bit even if it not exactly a common plane. Unlike a lot of the experimental crafts that the game otherwise features. I really like it. But I always liked the look of the mustang. And this is double the fun. Also, that gun pod in game is so nasty! It even shoots up ground targets very well.

The Hornet also has those same odd variable chord length wings. While the 203 fits well as a heavy, I chuckled every time you flipped that plane over the bomb bay doors were glaringly obvious.
Your comparison is about those two planes, but the BV P.203 can also be compared to the Do-335 Pfeil. The Do-335 has only one of those great 30mm guns, that fire at a 1000m, while the other gun configuration is rather comparable to the BV P.203, but the 30mm cannon is mounted in the nose. So the BV P.203 has the higher damage output, but I personally feel, that the Do-335 makes it easier to actually hit the enemy and therefore often is able to deal more damage. This is beause of the greater accuracy of the hub-mounted cannon but also because of the higher roll rate of the Do-335, that makes it more maneauverable. On top of that the Do-335 got 4 of those 250kg bombs, which is kind of over-powered. I own both the BV P.203 and the Do-335 and I do like both and both are rather similar in their flying and shooting characteristics, but if I would have to vote, then I would vote for the Do-335.
Maybe it is because I see them more, but I have shot down a lot more P-82s than the BVs.
The 20% experience paint isn't as good at hiding you but man does it pay off in xp with the p-82b.
So the P82 has the maneuverability what the XF5U used to have... Of course it's a premium, and many premiums, especially tier 8s are actually very good, on paar or better then regular planes... If you want quality & easier victories, you must pay...
I have the BV. P.203 since the original event, and it's my most flown aircraft. I love it so much more than 262, it's a double 209 A guns considered, and 4 times the boost!

I was waiting for P80a discount but that turn time on P82b may be good enough to kill some bully fighters over airfield and bail when they come back with friends. On top of that i like to fly F2G (great guns and small nuke under wings u can do funny stuff with). Looks like P82b is combining best of two worlds.
The fact that the p-82 is a premium is cringe bro.
