- Hello Everybody Today I have Created The Hexblade Build Again but this time optimized the gear and no longer restrict it to lizard to really show how over powered warlock is currently in both melee and casting. I also plan upon enough requests to showcase other classes and have each class be a separate race to make all the classes i make have the skinny pete spin on it. Anyways Hope you all enjoy just how strong warlock really is

I mean, pretty much the only reason this build works is because people don't expect the stat check. If people played ranged, waited out buffs, or just generally respected you, it wouldn't do nearly as much. The build is basically just an undercover barbarian.
A barbarian with access to magic shields, range attacks, dots, zoning tools, etc .
Boc is chunky with the stats he already had and than you get sac +hex the hardest character he would play into would be bards or fighters imo

edit: the plate fighter / cleric fight in Crypts, even with a fully buffed Barbarian you couldn't kill that fighter without BoC.
do it with cleric, full pdr build u got ur heals n use protection from evil. lower his curse dmg to you

Skinny Pete no diff. He knows how evil Pete has to play and can counter it. Evil Pete has no counter to skinny besides boc to blood exchange, but skinny Pete would win without blood exchange anyways.

Currently there's no reason not to pick warlock. It's simply too good to hitscan CoP and take 50% of enemies hp
Vampirism is a dead perk on you. Shadow touch heal doesnt scale its a flat 2 hp heal. unless ur duo with healers then i think its good.
I would rather face this build (which looks cool btw) than fantomize bullshit. I imagine this also dies hard to any ranger

Pete’s gameplay is fine, but all the kids that follow him around but are to scared to fight is so annoying, like they just HAVE to kill themselves fw Pete for like 6 minutes till they actually fight and lose. They’re so curious it kills the cat everytime. Like ik that one barb was a fan and using your kit but like he fucked with you just to run around for 3 minutes like wtf he could have just not challenged.
Honesty for me it's just the vast amount of broken builds that make people not want to fight, if I see a barb I usually don't want to fight because they are hard to deal with long range and huge damage in melee idk I wish the skill curve in build was not so high, and with fighter being the best versions of multiple classes, ranger, rogue, barb in some situations (longsword) and with AGI being meta it leaves a gross taste in my mouth seeing all the naked warlocks who you can never catch just spamming curses at you that do your entire heath bar

Why ppl hellfire the top of the door ? if u do the side you dont have to duck. or is it so ppl cant insta push or sth ?
So they can immediately turn either direction without worrying about the hellfire going through and hitting them on the other side. Unless you mean hellfire the top corners in which case yeah that's what most seem to do.

Enemy barb: calmly let him get all his buffs online, hears the BoC, decides not to wait for it to end, and proceeds to headbutt the BoC instead, and still almost one shots him

Literally if he rushed you while buffing or stalled for time till your buffs ended and then rage rushed you, you would have been cooked. But even if with all those buffs, he could still win if he hit the two zwei swings instead of you hitting the two zwei swings.
You're just skill gaping players because your better than them, it got nothing to do with the build. This build is just a worse barb, and it's annoying how even when the build sucks the title is still "hur dur warlock broken" because hating warlocks is meta and get views
Yeah he is reaching, by far, if you nerf CoP/TM and Phantomize which are the broken parts you have a pretty basic class left that has to jump through hoops just to come close to doing something that other classes do better, he is hand picking the encounters he shows of which he mostly just is the better player. Some people just wont be happy until the entire class is useless

CoP phantomize are a bit broken for sure, but this guy spends 8 seconds buffing to be be useful, one guy even let's him do all that buffing and face rushes him instead of running and letting them burn out before pushing the fight, it's just biased footage for a biased opinion.
Yeah i've (tried) running this build for ages ever since BSB was added - against good players you generally get hard kited or you end up dying to a wizard/anyone running ranged damage. You don't have barb levels of hp and speed to run people down with and your spells aren't exactly hitting hard with how you sacrifice will for strength. I'm holding out hope that hybrid/melee lock gets another look and they tone down the stagnancy of caster lock.

ive been saying for so long warlock is just 10x stronger than every other class in almost every way, so you cant buff teammates? what does it matter if you're able to solo bosses and teams. cleric used his 6 heals? just spam your infinite heals instead! wizard spamming spells at you? just wait until they run out and spam yours infinitely! barbarian gets a perk to increase their max hp for 6 seconds, warlock does it whenever they want with a huge damage buff aswell with no downside as a spell combination. unreal broken
