Can you pls suggest me why my embroidery hoop is not moving and thread gets entangled under the needle plate even a good stabilizer is used for the fabric, and the feed dogs are lowered
Golden Star, sounds like you may have a threading issues. Misthreading the top of the machine can cause all the thread to be pulled into the bobbin area. This nest would prevent the arm from being able to move. Or it's the type of bobbin fill. We have found that spun polyester doesn't stretch when the bobbin winds like poly filament. As thread stretches it give the bobbin thread more tension which can pull too much on the needle thread and cause nesting. I don't know if anyone from Singer is monitoring this video anymore but in case you are I have a question -- could you please e mail me the exact instructions for using the Singer Futura embroidery part of the machine?? The sewing part of the machine works fine but not the embroidery section.
Could you let us know which Futura model you have? Here is the manual for the XL-420(manuals.singer.com/Manuals/RetrievePDF/952)but we may be able to send you a different link.
Thank you. Very useful tutorial and clearly explained.
Thank you. This is a very thorough tutorial :) Out of curiosity, why would you pin the top stabilizer down? Why wouldn't you use more adhesive?
can you also put the comments on the kinds of needles applicable for every kind of clothing material
