The soundtrack is pretty epic. What I've noticed is that, the other soundtracks for this game mode (9 of the 13 made) have a rather gloomy undertone, it feels like what happened in Mirny actually just awakened something much worse to come.
Novak was so corrupted by the Mirium, that he could now be the final boss. Upon reading the description of Mirny's Tiger II (tier 7), those who sought to destroy them gave them consciousness, and perhaps because it was the consciousness of an experienced commander (Novak) he managed to rise to the hierarchical peak of the Mirny anomaly, being able to direct, therefore, not only the usual creatures of the area (Guardians, Alphas, Hunters), but also crews "lost in combat" (Corrupted and Lost). Also from the description of the Centurion Action X, those crews did not die, but rather merged with their vehicles in a symbiotic relationship. Mirny's original concept was that, vehicles that were half machine, half living beings, so it would make a lot of sense that that happened.

Many of the "normal" tanks in Mirny have the paint style similar to that of "Amateur Hunter" (the one found in Steel Hunter), although without inscriptions. Said paint scheme, especially the Rofous primer, which is on the tank hulls, has a very blood-like tone. Whether we talk about the corrupted bosses or the Immortal himself, that aspect you mention is much more noticeable. Although it is normally played on the side of the Alliance, Von Kriegger is right to repudiate them, many things, such as the incidents (something very bad they must have done to make the radioactive zone wider as a Steel Hunter battle progresses, is perceptible by listening to the Geiger counter) in Dreamland, Firnulfir and especially in Arzagir (which gave rise to the events of Mirny) have had consequences far more terrifying than anything von Kriegger and his daughters would have done, by far.
@@brianvonromanov6896 if anything Krieger is in the right, albeit in a very morally gray way. He does yearn for world peace and it's true a superweapon unmatched would deter any warmonger, but then it creates a tool of oppression that will do great harm in the wrong hands. That said, all that happened in Mirny is the fault of the Alliance and their nuclear tests in Arzagir, it woke the Mirium. The more advanced/Corrupted the tank is, the more it is covered in Mirium AND blood. The Grunts (Guards as they're called in-game) are nothing but very dirty. Their crew is intact but manipulated by Mirium. However, the 3D styles, especially that of Symbiote, clearly state the crew has fused with the tank. And oh, whaddya know - bloodstained armor. This theory is further confirmed by the introduction of Lost and Corrupted platoons - their style is mirium-covered but has no blood all over it.... Not yet. They are manipulated but they have yet to be fused with their machines... Like Hunters. Hunters are basically the same as The Lost, but you can notice the Lost have been lost Pretty recently and never killed before. The Hunters are blood-covered, old models fully merged with their crew and worn out by many battles against poor tankers.
