Nato defintetly talented but it's hard to listen to the same beat for 30 minutes when eventually someone is gonna try the same thing on it. Plus shofu be flying people out to make it an event.

Obviously, Scru wouldn't have the chance to catch every single in a Cypher like this one, some of these are really deeply layered for invested fans in the franchise. And even then some of these are hard to catch. But I'm impressed with how much Scru actually caught here, and the general bars were caught by his eye immediately. Their delivery and flow were surprising to me the first time I saw one of these Cyphers, many of these are legitimately good artists. Chris Patrick's stuff is gas, and that's on god.

CTC hasn't had a verse come close to his '13 except for his cypher encore, G Yee hasn't topped his '13, and Shizzy's '13 is still one of the strongest verses in any pokemon cypher period. Don't get me wrong, '19 is better than '16 but even Shofu's and Scoot's tag team in '16 is better than Shofu and Shizzy in '19. Sidenote: "Bugging, dump the metal" line would barely make it on the leaderboard bro truuuust me.

Beatdown's verse in 2016 was insane and is still his best work. For me it is a toss up between 2016 and 2019 I have to watch 2013 again.

I literally watched this the day it premiered. I knew of these Pokemon Cyphers long before I heard of the "RUclips Cyphers" (just heard of them about three weeks ago, the same time I found your channel). I literally love Shofu and this whole gang. It was a surprise to me whenever I heard that Shizzy (VI seconds/Gawd) was also part of this "RUclips Rap" scene with you guys, as he's always been seen for THIS Pokemon scene for me until recently. This cypher, in my opinion, is superior to any RUclips Cypher that has, and will ever, come out. The Pokemon cypher consists of a group of underrated, non-featured homies who have transformed the "RUclips Rap Scene" with something fun, relatable, and clever: Pokemon. If you liked any of these people, go to the RUclips channel "Shofu" and support all of their songs they do. I know people follow "Quadeca" or "Crypt" or "KSI", but these dudes are, at least in my opinion, SOOO much better than all of these mainstream "RUclips rappers". Scru is great, though, and I feel like Shizzy is the only exception of being able to exist in both settings (mainstream and Pokemon rapper) and still be hard.

I think this was the best one they put out by leaps and bounds bro. Lol none of the previous cyphers come CLOSE to 2019s. N9t that any are bad, but everyone snapped on 2019, while the previous years there were a couple...lukewarm verses from certain people. Not terrible by any means, but not close to this.

Like man, Kezura, Chris Patrick, OmarCameUp, Token and Black Lynk SNAPPED. Well everyone did, but they stood out to me, them and Shizzy/Shofus combo. I dont think there's a bettet fucking line then "If you're buggin, dump the metal, now you change like a Scyther." 💀💀💀😯 THAT SHIT IS INSANE....
@@ShadowKosmos Honestly, 2013 is still the best one out overall. Only two verses that weren't absolutely solid, and it also featured some of the best verses we've heard from regulars.
CTC hasn't had a verse come close to his '13 except for his cypher encore, G Yee hasn't topped his '13, and Shizzy's '13 is still one of the strongest verses in any pokemon cypher period.
Don't get me wrong, '19 is better than '16 but even Shofu's and Scoot's tag team in '16 is better than Shofu and Shizzy in '19.
Sidenote: "Bugging, dump the metal" line would barely make it on the leaderboard bro truuuust me.
@@raijinwolf2248 Shofu's 2013 verse is the most memorable outta all of his verses besides his mix tape. Scoots best verse was on 2016. Shizzy's 2016 was his best verse in my opinion. Beatdown's verse in 2016 was insane and is still his best work. For me it is a toss up between 2016 and 2019 I have to watch 2013 again.
Kezura posts all his stuff on SoundCloud, if you wanna hear his stuff you should over there my guy. Trust me Kez is sooooo talented, it's so sad he ain't blown up.

I literally watched this the day it premiered. I knew of these Pokemon Cyphers long before I heard of the "RUclips Cyphers" (just heard of them about three weeks ago, the same time I found your channel). I literally love Shofu and this whole gang. It was a surprise to me whenever I heard that Shizzy (VI seconds/Gawd) was also part of this "RUclips Rap" scene with you guys, as he's always been seen for THIS Pokemon scene for me until recently. This cypher, in my opinion, is superior to any RUclips Cypher that has, and will ever, come out. The Pokemon cypher consists of a group of underrated, non-featured homies who have transformed the "RUclips Rap Scene" with something fun, relatable, and clever: Pokemon.
If you liked any of these people, go to the RUclips channel "Shofu" and support all of their songs they do. I know people follow "Quadeca" or "Crypt" or "KSI", but these dudes are, at least in my opinion, SOOO much better than all of these mainstream "RUclips rappers". Scru is great, though, and I feel like Shizzy is the only exception of being able to exist in both settings (mainstream and Pokemon rapper) and still be hard.
