Darklight has always been extremely toxic. Ran into the guy once in a custom tourney (entirely for fun) and he was queued with the person streaming (because obviously who doesn't want to be carried in your own viewer game, that again, was for fun)... Dark what a saved on the first goal so I demo chased him all around... Got extremely angry, hasn't been back to that stream 😂 (yes we did end up winning). Played him a few other times in casual... guy doesnt let go of the past lmao

I think I have solved the toxicity problem in rocket league. It's a big idea.
Here it is: you go in the options -> chat -> disable.
Crazy, I know!
What's even more revolutionary is that you have no teammates in 1s, so you're not gaining or losing any useful information to play the game!
What I found also is that reading your team chat while playing in 2s or 3s is more distracting than relying solely on body language (excepted for the kickoff, but usually the "left goes" unwritten rule does its job well), and so disabling it in these gamemodes doesn't remove any trully useful information either.
Just my random potentially annoying 2 cents perspective on the matter lol

1:43 It isn't that hard to do actually. With enough practice you could get much closer to such car control in what, 2-3 month? Just need a few hours of workshop map practice everyday. I can share my routine if you'd like, few month ago i couldn't flip reset or airroll, now it's like second nature

I'm 43 and I sometimes say "skip please" when playing 1s. It's 12 secs of your life watching something you just did. If u play an hour straight it's gonna amount a shit ton of minutes if you have to watch every replay.
