Kekkai Sensen is just a hidden gem nowadays. Nothing had a vibe like it had at the time. Is one of that anime that always comesback to my mind. AND WHAT ? I DID NOT KNOW THE AUTHOR IS THE SAME GUY AS TRIGUN, IT NEVER CROSSED MY MIND. Completely mindblowed

I am currently watching Kekkai sensen and it was better than I expected. If you read trva on imdb it is said that originally Kekkai sensen would be a vampire hunt story in a modern city but it was influenced by Trigun. It makes me sad that not many people talk about the anime or manga.I prefer to watch it with original Japanese dub because for my own personal reasons they are voice actors I dislike in English and I don't want to hear them. I also want to read the manga.The manga is published to a manga magazine which is published every three months like the manga of D Gray Man. Leo is also one of my comfort characters.
Yes I haven’t read the one shot but I did know about the original concept for the series. I totally understand and respect watching it subbed, it’s all down to preference. And I also neglected to mention that Kekkai Sensen’s current magazine comes out once every three months so now that I’m caught up I’m stuck waiting for so long lol
I love this anime, it’s too bad it didn’t get any more seasons. It is definitely a mood with its own weird logic. In some ways it reminds me of Tower of God, just because the world building is so off the charts. You wonder how exactly the people adapt to the absurdity and the story allows you to get a glimpse of that, of how their lives are interconnected between the chaotic landscape and to each other.
Great vid, leo, zapp, zed are my fav mains. I first discovered the series when i was ten through the anime and manga. When i first saw klaus he reminded me of a wolf spider, kekkai sensen was a manga that inspired my webcomic series
Kekkai Sensen??? In 2024????? I could faint TTATT. Im so glad people are still talking about Kekkai Sensen! For anyone who doesn't know, the third part of the manga, Beat 3 Peat, is still ongoing!! And there are movies too!!
Kekkai sensen is still popular in jp and that matters a lot cuz potentially it could hv a season 3. I’m also reading BBB&P the continuation of the story and aaaah man it’s great!❤️
I figured there must still be a sizable fanbase over in Japan, otherwise the manga still wouldn't be running. I'm hopeful we'll get a continuation of the anime very soon
@@shiromatsunokiidk if u saw but TOHO animation YT channel re-released a lot of anime openings & endings, Kekkai sensen were the only ones that went over 100k views in both Ops & Eds in like a week after🔥🗿(the Op now is at almost 500k views)
seeing this on my recommended was absolutely insane and i clicked it immediately i haven't started the video yet but i'm so glad it's being talked about 🥹 kekkai sensen is my favorite series of all time

I saw Kekkai Sensen last year and I just love it. The premise of the city alone... its awesome. And that closing credits, of course.
