I feel the same about it. It's very underwhelming. The Genshin impact art book was my first ever art book and I was expecting so much more out of it like character concept, environment concept art etc. but no, it just has to be the same art you can easily find off of their socials easily. There's no point in buying it when you can probably just make the same art book yourself with a printer. then there's the second art book, which I don't have, so I looked it up. It's exactly like the first one. just images of what happened in game that you can easily find online with nothing special added. No information, nothing but a waste of paper. Just recently, I bought the cinematic art (book) of world of Warcraft at the dollar store. ($5cad, it was $45 USD.) It has more information from character concepts, story boards everything that you would WANT to see in an artbook for it's price. I can bet that a fan made artbook about Genshin would be ten times better compared to the official art book.

I like what you noted that Louis, while still evil, had his complexities. In recent years, with tons of people idolizing "pure evil" villains, some people think giving a villain ANY sort of tangible motivation, understandable backstory, or even the character in-story showing sympathy towards them, is the writer trying to "whitewash" them, when it's often further from the truth. Louis is a massive asshole with little regard for other people's lives, and a tendency to double down and ignore reality, even when he's blatantly wrong. However, he was shaped into the person he is by the genuine injustices of the world, and Will's party work to make a world where what happened to Louis can never happen to anyone else.

The best part about Louis is that he’s not some sort of twist villain the way that persona games usually go. Sure there are still some twists in Metaphor but it’s clear that Louis is the main threat from start to finish.

LETS GOOOOO Louis video. I geniunely adore that character. And I love how you mentioned there characters as Malos and Jin. Like I had told you before, Handsome Jack is also a villain that is recurring in his story that I adored. So seeing Louis be promimently displayed in the story, and actually being a force of "good" during the story that helps us or at least aligns himself with us was one of my favorite things about the lore and world building of the game. Having him be the villain was beautifully executed, and he is such a memorable character! You did amazing with the video! Also I love the explanation of the mutliple bad endings!

This was great! I've done a lot of thinking about the game's narrative since playing as well and it was nice hearing your thoughts about it. It's genuinely one of the best stories I've ever experienced, I think. A lot of JRPGs have similar overall messages but there's just so much depth to it in Metaphor. So many... Metaphors. Characters that all feel so richly written and kind of eerily parallel to many figures active in US politics right now. A tyrant who maintains 48% of the vote in polls despite launching an attack on the capitol. His elderly and inflexible (sort of) incumbent opponent. And the more relatable, caring woman they bring in after that opponent's defeat. Then you have a line of followers who are written like real people struggling to make it work across different walks of life under the all the insanity and injustice. You're given points for how much you set aside your anxiety and actually see them. They managed to gamify... Being what people need to be right now. The game is the book in your pocket guiding you, just as much as your world is the book in his.

Tbh I’ve always seen her as accepting the abundance as a part of their lives and that their quest is fruitless and their hate unjustified Because said hate lead to her people getting kicked out only to be called back to fix the Xianzhous problems even forcing her to clean up her division instead of having it ready for her

This was such a good video. As a new player to hsr (I started playing October of last year) and somebody who has a problem with paying attention usually, this makes everything so much easier to understand 😭 blade is one of my favorites so I'm very glad to understand more of his lore and character

When I see people talk about Lingsha, I'll admit that I didn't know what people acutally liked about her, so hearing this really gave me more perspective on a character that I personally dislike! Lingsha really grew on me over the patch, I remember I was very indifferent to her when I first saw her, but she stole the show pretty quickly with her charisma and her way of speaking. Honestly one of the most fun characters, and I was just happy she gave us the little tuskpir pet too! Also damn, Cianwood's theme just hit really hard in the nostalgia there, I loved that music choice in particular!

he has awesome writing carefully build on cause and effect like how his mysophobia ( wich i did alot of rechercher on ) can be developed from illness related trauma wich is something that moze aligns with how he was really sick as a child wich got used as a weak point for the disciples of sanctus medicus, also he is a wonderful example of blurred prespectives on moralities ( aka when a child with no mental and moral awareness is teach the wrong things like murder is ok wich the child will inhabite as there moral compos because they don't know any better like how sunday thought that imprisoning people is an ok thing because that is what gopher wood teach him as a child ) and how it affects him in his adulthood giving him trust issues where he lies to the mcs face because he doesn't trust us but also making kinda dependent on jiaoqui and feixiao that were there with him since he was a child

I like ZZZ for the same reasons I like Blue Archive. They kind of flip the concept of Gacha Games being completely fucked with some hope sprinkled on top. Both BA and ZZZ are modern urban style games with banging ass EDM soundtracks and a focus on hope and seeing things through with a err of mystery and darkness festering beneath.
