    Do you remember meeting Amtrak at West? They had to divert from normal route. Do not remember why.

      Thanks for stopping by the channel. Yes, I do remember the absolute oddity of seeing a passenger train on the Katy passing West, TX agency in the 1970's. Truly remarkable.
