In this video I am installing the Yale window handle double tongue onto my laundry window. This video is based on my interpretation of the 'Instruction' that is included in the package.
Tools required:
A drill, 3.5mm drill bit, #1 square driver bit, CRC lubricant.
Marker pen, safety googles / equipment.
This is a 'Sub Fix' type as the screws are located at the bottom.
Other types are 'Face Fix' in which the screws are located at the front and 'Vertical Fix' where the screws are at the top.
My window is an awning window, another type is casement window.
This is a right-hand version, another type is left-hand version.
This is a double-tongue version which allows some air ventilation in between the gaps of the tongues when the windows are open; another type is single-tongue version.
