- For this video, when I finished this game, I was always wanting to do this video on RUclips, the title "OMORI All SOMETHING Encounters" would appear on the search box, however there was not a single video about it, so I decided to make the video to help people. Be warned, SPOILERS exist.
This video is about every single SOMETHING Encounter that appear in game, except the following:
-STRANGER (They do not appear because they're not really "SOMETHING")
-Some of the SOMETHING Variants (Such as DOROTHY, NANCI, LILLI. I didnt include them because they're not really "SOMETHING" everyone wants to see.)
-HELLMARI (HELLMARI isn't really the "SOMETHING".)
-Unused Content In game
Although, you can still see them in the video due to SOMETHING also being there.

Update (20/06/2022): So apparently OMORI has been released in the console versions and I have heard that it includes new content in it, if there is any new SOMETHING appearance(s) in the game, I'll most likely make a video of it, so let me know if there is something new.

There are a few encounters I sadly did not know of before this video, I will explain it in this comment
1. One Day Left (True Route) / SOMETHING in the stump
Basically, after BLACK SPACE you wake up in REALWORLD at night, and after interacting with the Piano Room, if you interact with the backyard door, it will open, if you go ahead, SOMETHING will be there in the stump, although it's hard to see it and you cannot get closer to it.
2. If you go to the KEEPER OF THE CASTLE place and interact with the "Red Grate" in True Route, it will teleport you to Heaven, and SOMETHING can be seen, but will fade away shortly.
Will keep updating this if I find other SOMETHING encounters that I did not include, I'm so sorry.

I missed "Something in the stump" because I interacted with the backyard door before going into the piano room.
When you interact with the tire swing after blackspace in vast forest something will slowly fade into view
Going back out and in to interact with the tire swing spawns multiple Nanci enemies (Something Spider)
I think the saddest part of the Hikikomori or Neuteral endings is the inference that Sunny is going so far to bury his guilt that he's starting to forget Mari as a whole as everytime he goes to think of her, all that comes up is Something with Mari leaving his head entirely only to be replaced with Something
Too much trauma, at this point he just throws everything away. Good memories and bad.

Or it was so traumatic all he sees is Something. He cannot look at her anymore as she was without seeing Something in her place.
Sunny is not forgetting her. He's clinging to his nostalgia and happiest memories of her and splintering off any negative feelings he had of her onto characters like Sweetheart and Perfectheart. Similar to Stranger and Basil being "split in two."
Its a visual representation of cognitive dissonance. HS Basil being confined to the picnic blanket is one way he compromises this dissonance. Basil can still be his friend so long as he doesn't trigger painful memories.
In the console version, (a copy of) Mari is encountered at the end of Basil's boss rush. The act of "killing" this Mari clone triggers a flashback and we play as a terrified Sunny (Omori is just Sunny's Headspace costume). We can't do anything and the game is forcibly reset to before Basil joins your party.
However, we learn that Sunny/Omori does not lose memories during resets, only the Headspace friends do. (Headspace represents distraction. You can't distract yourself from something you can't remember.) He's still reeling and panicking from the memory of Mari's hanging. Headspace Mari notices and promises to always be there for him.

I love how seeing Something is the same as that initial shock you have when you touch something that’s too hot on accident. Every time you get close to the truth it’s just that sudden jolt that scares you away from pursuing it.

You can go to the backyard after waking up from Black Space in the true route, and Something will be on the Stump. Also there are “Somethings” in the Pain Area. Also in Black Forest 2 Something’s eye will appear every now and then. In the True Route if you stay near the Red Grate near the keeper of the castle for a few seconds you’ll be teleported to Heaven, and Something will be there and fade away
I didnt include Black Forest 2 one purposely, I thought that wasn't scary enough for people, originally was going to though. Do you mean those plant looking things at the Pain Area? Because those are also not added in purpose because it wasn't the "SOMETHING" I was looking for. But I didn't know that there were "SOMETHING" on the Heaven and... Backyard Area again? Thank you :)

@@MicrosoftWindowsYT In the pain area there are Something shaped things with different/multiple faces. When I say the backyard I don’t mean the backyard area in black space but Sunny’s actual backyard. You can go there after Sunny wakes up at night after Black Space in the true route, Something will be on the stump, and Sunny would turn around and shake his head if you try to get closer. @@AniematedSteph I just checked that in game while a save file, and yep, that actually happened... I feel bad that I missed two things from the game already :/ I will possibly do a Part 2 if it reaches 5 things or 10. Thank you again for this ^-^
For the Pain Area one, I didnt count them because they looked like plants to me, and what I was searching for was the black figure

That was the Something that stuck with me. I had been playing around in that castle and dungeon for what must have been hours at this point. See a commotion by the vines, I click on it and am greeted with ABSOLUTE SILENCE, NO AMBIIENCE; just Something staring back from the void. My heart stopped and time froze. And the fact that it just NEVER appears again after taking a second look, makes you second guess yourself like Did I just see that?

I noticed the faces on the "Happy family" photo during the cattail field barn scene changes when interacted. Before interacting with the photo the faces are normal. After that it changes to hellmari's gaping mouth. But its really small.

This is the one part of the game that made me want to throw my laptop, I was so not expecting it 😅 Well, that and every time the knocking on door sound effect played. For some reason when I had my earbuds in it made me jump and think someone was knocking on my door every single time.

Okay, so in the part where we see spirit Mari playing the piano, Hero comes in and says "i could've sworn i heard music" which means that it was NOT a hallucination, likely meaning that every other something sighting was real and not Sunny's mind.
Think about that for a minute.

8:08 interesting that SOMETHING transforms into Mari's ghost. Not Headspace Mari or a memory of Mari, specifically her ghost.
The game kinda implies that Sunny's SOMETHING is another form of Mari's ghost. We know from the boardwalk sequence that she can assume other forms while the dialogue conforms that she is the voice that is speaking to Sunny during the SOMETHING "fights." And here at 8:08 we see SOMETHING transform into her.
SOMETHING (the black substance it's made of) is Sunny's guilt and refusal to face the Truth. Deep Well implies that Mari's spirit has been trying to guide him for years. His guilt is literally smothering Mari's ghost and warping her into these monsters. He can't see her for what she is, but her voice syill reaches him
