Krowka is from Poland :D
yes, but we do LOVE it :)
"I'm speechless, like I could cry."
haha I love the snack taste test! So funny how you had no clue what it was!
Thanks Ashley and Josh ... because Slovakia its my plans to visit with my friend...
Guys I think the snack that you thought was caramel was fudge. Lovely to see Ash all excited for that hotel suite, loved the false curtain! xx
Love a good road trip and am really enjoying tagging along with you on yours! 💕
Da danoob! Cool castle strategery. You has the cash? No? Yay road trips and awesome views! 😃😎😍😁
This was such a fun video ❤️
Keep up the good work guys 👍🏻
I have been loving your videos from Hungary, and how fun it looked to take a road trip from there to Slovakia! The history there is amazing, those super old castles. And the landscapes are so pretty! I'm getting so much enjoyment from watching your travels, and getting ideas for possible trips for me in the future =)
11:20 it was sooo funny " LOOK AT THIS "
25!!!! Yayyyyyy!!! Happy Sunday!!!
Saw your status update and immediately came here to stream the whole Hungary series
😘😘😘😘😘😘
11:20 LMAO
Loving all the awesome castles
The tube is basically condensed milk which you got the flavored one as chocolate but if you choose to get it get a piknik one!! I guess you can put it in milk but it's not really intended for that. You just press it while it's in your mouth 😊
Ah man.. we must have just missed you guys in Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna. Oh so close! 😃 - Trevor
I am first please give me that heart I love you guys so much
Thanks for listening and giving that heart ❤️
Groovy vibes at the beginning lay the tone perfectly for this. :D Had the same problem with cash in Japan...
Hustling so many vids😊 have a safe trip guys.
Looks as you like the Danube river. If to go further up along the river in Germany you should take a boat ride from Kelheim to the Weltenburg Abbey (fare €11.50 p.p. round trip). It holds the oldest monastic brewery of the world, founded in 1050.
I love when you do roadtrips ❤
Lol they may have gotten carried away with the curtains 😁 Ash you are too cute. Fantastic stuff guys. As always
Nice video Ashley and Josh👍👏👌
You can visit Bradlo
6:45 I think this is was a sign for an apothecary/medicine man back in the day. They had some in the city of Ephesus, as well, which is where I learned of them.
Oooh Road Trip food vlog!!! Sooo good 😋😋
It's funny when Ashley moved the other curtain and it's mostly wall! 😂
Walls of castles are often called curtains. I don’t know why. But same in Wales.
Brilliant video; so interesting.
Mmm, I learned something new! 🤔
I'm in love with her smile
🙋🏼♀️ “Ahoj” (greetings) from Bratislava😘
Actually i am slovakian but i never ate “čoketka” or any of those products you shown. But they are maybe similar to what we were grown on and what we use to like. Anyway Lidl is here up to 10years. I see you bought everything in Lidl supermarket, maybe you should try our slovakian supermarkets called “Yeme”. But still you can find slovakian original in Lidl, there are some typical products slovakian/czech from “sedita, opávia, ..” and you can buy it everywhere.
We have two castles in Bratislava yes, Devín and Bratislava castle, and a lot of more to explore, indeed.
We call Bratislava - little big city, as well as country🙏🏻😽🌸 Love you
"Oh, it's mostly wall" 🤣🤣🤣 So funny. We swam in the mighty Danube many times this summer in Vienna. Love that you feel spoiled in the hotel, we get that. We aren't relating to the super luxury all sponsored, all the time vlogs at all.
Looking forward to more Slovakian content, and are you guys planning on visiting Slovenia?
It seems to get forgotten, and my neighbour ( who is from there) tells me its the most beautiful country in central Europe. Nigel.
Thanks for showing the nice places of my country it doesn’t receive much advertising so many don’t even know about it
You say you guys are paying by card for nearly everything - in order to not get charged fees what cards do you use? There a few banks here in the UK that allow it but you have to be a UK citizen to apply
ha the squirty stuff looks like craft paint! Josh is that your wedding ring? like a little crown? Ash is yours the same?? darling! I love old brick work...imagining the hands that placed the bricks there so so long ago! Ashley funny with the curtains! Pretty time lapse photography...great as usual
That small tower you see at 8:08 - you can climb there and it looks easy to reach, but when you descend you suddenly realize that you have nowhere to grab. Also, you are standing on the platform that is right above a small cave that is also kind of accesible - but I'd never do it second time. And I totaly love your vids, subscribing.
Thanks for posting guys, this is so cool.
I have planned a road trip leaving from Zurich and will be going though the same countries, do you need a "special" sticker to go to different countries?
Again, THANK YOU, this is so helpful
No special sticker needed. They don’t even stop you at the boarders. Our rental car company charged us an extra $40 for going between countries. I’m not sure what it was specifically for but we did pay it.
@@WAYAWAYWithAsh Great, thanks for the info.
Any rental car company you would recomend?
If we could know you come to Slovakia, we would guide you around guys! :O :) Anyways the Krowka is polish :D
Josh, I like your new wedding ring. I remember you lost it while surfing.
Ooh and Ashley in the hotel priceless
ok, it is also called Dévényi vár....:)
Hope you are enjoying Bratislava. And goodbye is dovidenia.
I thought for a moment that the hotel you stayed at was called Frankenstein.
FALKENSTEINER
Not Frankenstein...😄
Na Zdravie and wow what a hotel view! Hope you were able to make it out to Bratislava Castle and the UFO. I used to work for ESET but never had a chance to visit their HQ in the Aupark Tower across the bridge there. Loving your journey! OH and Good night is "dobrú noc" (DOH-broo nohts) or Goodbye is "do videnia."
Roadtrips!
great. 😀
I believe it's DAN-yoob...
Looked like a fun day...
Even if it didn't go exactly to plan... :)
Loved it again. What was ur favourite snack?
👍👍
That is fudge ( the one that isn't caramel) :)
Devín castle is much more older by archaeological research. There were roman buildings, some bricks "signed" by the "XIV legio Gemina" (there were the XIV. and the XV. roman legions). It was celtic and german fortress. Part of fortress complex in that area. Bratislava castle has similar history (and it was part of the same complex). Marcus Aurelius died in Vindobona (Vienna). Interesting thing is the fictive battle between Marcus Aurelius and barbarians from film Gladiator (with Russel Crow in main role) happened in this area - somewhere between today's Bratislava and Vienna. In half way between both cities was Carnuntum (today in Austria) capitol of roman Pannonia superior province - much more larger then medieval London or Paris. :)
Not far from Devín is roman military camp Gerulata (today Rusovce, part of Bratislava) - not primitive wooden camp as in film, but sophisticated stone fortress, part of limes romanus (this part of Slovakia was roman province). Roman sources mentioned attacks from close barbarian castle. Closest castles were Bratislava and Devín. But Bratislava castle was under roman control in that time. So hot candidate for this unknown barbarian base is Devín castle and hot candidate for fictive (maybe real) battlefield of "Gladiator" is area of thoday's Slovakia, somewhere between limes romanus and Devín castle - distance... few km/miles. :)
Luv that dress Ashley
Krówka - "kroof-ka". It's Polish! You can tell by the "w".

I don't know who gave you the food, but for example Krovky is Polish, not Slovak. And you have other non-Slovak food there as well.
The caramel Krowka is Polish.

Bratislava is actualy renamed occupied austrian city Pressburg ;) Slovaks after ww2 evicted almost all native inhabitants (germans, austrians, few hungarians) of this city and stole their properties ;) Mostly communist slovaks ;)
+daVe Clima and they renamed it to Bratislava just after ww1 when Austria lost war ;)
@@daveclima5497 what does this have to do with Slovakia, Felvidék, Nitriansko?
+TheGAzed this video is about renamed Pressburg?
