Hi Sarin. Am Joe from the U.S.A., and in the State Of Maine. As a degreed and experienced electronics technician, I have made many units of various items work just by soldering cold joints and pins! You are an excellent teacher, and you just need a good inventory of parts, and Digikey and Mouser are excellent distributors! God Bless you, your work, and family! 😊

Because of your videos, I partially fixed my galaxy note 4 which was dead for 2 years and repair shops couldnt fix it. There was a short in a capacitor. used camera on other phone to zoom in and removed it. Phone boots and functions normally, but display got a problem. It was not workng, just brownish with no picture but touch works, cleaned contacts and started again. picture worked only on low brightness and high brightness maakes it brown. Touch didnt worked and only stylus worked. Cleaned it again, display again gone but touch working. So confused at this points. If you can help then thanks otherwise LOVE YOU!!!!! You the MVP thanks aloooot

Even some time is gone but I like to add a small simple fix for you for those "broken" connectors like at the camera connector. You can simply add a thin paper on top of the cam-cable to bring some more force to the connector. Did it more then one time now, especially for laptop-keyboards. Many are broken because stupid guys broke it by "disassembly" mwybe it will help you as well ☺️

I sometimes repaired the Acer with a camera problem due to a broken connector by sticking a draft strip or something springy on the connector or place where some pressure was needed and mounting it closed, so that the draft strip was pressed together and then pressing the connector came.

Hello, i see you still did not get a new solder iron, myself i am using a Solomon soldering iron SL-20 for more than 25 years now, my first adjustable temperature iron, i got only some minor problem as broken cable and power switch, the heating element still be original, the case has a small crack but falled down about 3 times ..., they still sell it for 75€ including VAT, it is easy to by spare iron handle and tips, anyway i am not sure about the actual quality of this product, around here it has been much used in electronic schools. I just discovered a version combination with a desoldering iron SL-916D more expensive of course.

În plus, cine cumpără acea tabletă, o cumpără fiindcă nu are bani pentru una mai scumpă, deci merită lipituri de calitate. Zic. Fludorul este de 1 mm sau de 0.7? Mi se pare cam mare.
