@@derrickpangilinan if you already stacking for the cards, you can upgrade for next level anytime you want if you have enough cro coin or money , you don’t have to wait until 180 day finish , I love their cards, super benefits lol.

I upgraded the plastic blue card to ruby red, I think there is no upgrade fee as a Canadian, I wasn't charged anyway. Goal is to upgrade to Jade Green by March, have a chunk of CRO on the defi app earning ~%12.45, so I'll have to unstake it sometime in Feb. and wait the 28 days to transfer it back to the CDC app. Here's hoping CRO at least holds it value by then. A little worried that I don't see the pinned comment stating you received the card yet as it's mid January now.
If you upgrade your card to the next tier you can choose to keep your old card and use it at no additional cost and they will be no need for a virtual card
The only issue is that your existing physical card is disabled the day you upgrade, and you have to wait for months for the card delivery, you’re back to online payments only.

Yes I have my new card and it took approx 2.5 months. It may be faster now but yea it took a while for me. Also, yes the red card becomes inactive once you upgrade. The silver lining is that you can use a virtual card within a week or so for your new card so you can buy online, pay bills online, etc.

You need $4k worth of CRO at the time of you staking for the card so if you plan on staking you at this point would need to buy an additional $1k which it will prompt you to do when you select to sign up for the card 👍
Can someone explain the benefits of taking profits other than the obvious? I know some people like to buy back in at lower prices. I feel like I don’t do this because I rather just buy and hold even if It goes down, if I believe in the project, I know it’ll just go up again.

Only other item I did not like with upgrading is that you cannot use your other card after you upgraded. Now I have to wait till new card gets here. You should still be able to use old card!
How about if you have Chase , discovery , American Express and other credit card 5% cash back on quarterly different category , you be always 5% receive on spending. You do not need have to own or buy CRO coin for 40000$ to get 5% cash back on regular debit card.

@@drayke6936 Based on your question I would say you need to do a lot of research, watch a lot of videos and do a lot of reading before you invest anything. A question like yours is usually asked right before the person loses all their money. But if you are eager, you are better off buying weekly or monthly, it's called dollar cost averaging. And people like you tend to invest a lot into something then the price goes down and the person panic sells. And they lose money. Please don't become one of those people.

if you stake $500CAD for the ruby red and throughout the process you want to unstake it then go all in and upgrade to the jade green/ royal indigo for $5000CAD before the 180 is over ?is that possible? or once it is staked you can't upgrade until 180 days is over?

Yes but you also get 10% a year in CRO so if you leave it for 1 year staked you will have 4400 CRO that is worth 2100$ in this case. Also you can use it for netflix, Spotify and 3% cashback that can be worth another few 100$

You get the physical card as soon as it comes in the mail, can take up to 2 months in some countries, got mine in 10-14 days in US. But virtual card is available in 1-2 business days after staking so you can start using Spotify and Netflix rebate and make online purchases right away
Yeah, you can keep current card and just upgrade benefits to avoid $50 dollar fee for new card, did the same when I upgraded, will use current card until it expires
It's upto you. You can keep your Ruby Steel card and enjoy the benefits of Royal Indigo. This way you can save £50 card upgrade fee. I suggest not to upgrade the physical card (if you are ok with your current card) as it's taking forever for the cards to arrive due to high demands of orders. Hope this helps.
