We had the US version of the B10M buses as articulated (bendy) models in the US with the same engine and transmission powertrain in Philadelphia well into the 1990s before they were retired. SEPTA (Philadelphia), NJ Transit and SamTrans (San Mateo County, California) were the only agencies to use the B10M bendys, while the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority where the only US agency to purchase the B10M 40-foot model (one of the RIPTA buses ended up in Philadelphia as coach 8590).
Good news Guys! According to land transport guru, 20 units of the retired Scania K230UBS Euro 4 are currently reserved for RVS Global! So its kinda similiar to back then when the O405s were shipped to bangkok for preservation/operations. Well i think its up to RVS Global if they want the bus and how many they want. If some they dont want, those might be send for scrap immediately. Btw these retired buses are the ones from 1 Jan 2022 and have yet to be de registered
Hopefully it will happen. Who knows someone who is crazy enough to buy a bus chassis (like Volvo B8RLE chassis) and build a B10M on it? (From the bodywork to the interior)
@@陈劲恺 i am asking for the whole bus to be made as much as close to the original b10ms not slapping on smth and faking it. Its gg be expensive if possible
@@TIB1106EProductions That will need a ton of engineering knowledge (and also stripping up a B10M), and will not be allowed in Singapore since the bus replica will not meet the minimum Euro V standards.
@@adambarrett5696 that sounds like a very interesting project! These buses are quite old (from the 90s) but are known for their reliability if looked after well.
Nostalgic feeling! Loved the Good Old B10M Mk III. Love it

nostalgia hitting real hard!
Heh yes, it was so good
That classic B10m Roar 👍🏻
Yesterday and today I have been recording trucks and cars it was soo fun thanks 😊 for inspiring me to record old veichles
You're very welcome! It's a nice hobby to have :)
Ok
@@glitchFan2428 yeah it is
I will always remember the ride quality. Yes they were a bit noisy, the engine being in the middle, the B10B were fantastic though.
I've got a video of a B10B coming soon 😁
A bit late la, but if u remember, this is the tenth anniversary of your bus vids🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉

Could be sent to somewhere as a fleet, better than being scrapped
@@glitchFan2428 Yeah could finally something good sbst did...although rvs global requested though
SBST are more likely to sell to a company as a fleet to be reused rather than to a private individual for preservation
Good old days!
Wow the b10m has reborn
Memories
Really Miss Volvo B10M MK IIIs a lot..
Same, took them to and from school a lot
Nice!
Love it
The Hong Kong Former Victory 3 types uses the Volvo mk1 type engine
Interesting
Volvo olympian vibe
Indeed

Britain is suffering a heatwave
Only for a few days. Singapore heatwave 365 days a year 🥲
This brings me so much *_n o s t a l g i a_*
Oh yes it sure did!
It’s just a burning memory…
Especially the zf, reminds me of the Olympians
Is the engine a euro 0 one?
The breaking sound missed that
Wow, a B10M DD!
Glad that UK preserves such a unique bus in pristine condition, this just reminds me of the VO and the B10M combined.
Also, the sounds are lovely! 😍
Yeah it's the best of both worlds!
@@glitchFan2428 What's your opinion on the UK Gemini 2's? Much better or worse than Singapores?
@@Bobbyandmog they are older I think, not much difference to be honest except the number of axles
Rly wanna see when a b10m gets rebuilt as a replica
Not sure if that's possible
Hopefully it will happen. Who knows someone who is crazy enough to buy a bus chassis (like Volvo B8RLE chassis) and build a B10M on it? (From the bodywork to the interior)
Sadly it will not have the signature B10M sounds.

what town in uk 🇬🇧
Rode the bus from Wetherby to York
@Jason if you can’t spell the town better not reply
Looks kinda like a vo2xl from the back
Yeah it gives off the Olympian vibe
Same chassis right?
Yes
Are these mid engine
Indeed they are

Thank you
Oo i didnt know b10m dd exists lol
Now you do!
Engine sound like b10m with Volvo Olympian body
Hahah yes I felt the same too!
It's more or less a double deck version of a B10M.
EEEEEEEEEEE I MISSED THE SOUNDS AND THE SEAT
Such a lovely sound
Why Singapore don’t want to celebrate the old bus.
There is lots of interest and demand for bus preservation but the government refuses to listen to the people
Ahh and their acceleration
not the same bro
this is using a sbs mk2 engine as i seem
Ooo same for sbst mkiv I think some DM use different engine as well if I remember correctly. But generally chassis still the same ah
@@glitchFan2428 yes chassis is for sure
