- This video shows you a simple process of how to make boxes without a plan, using your scroll saw. Process and design by Adrian Iredale. Design inspired by my friend Derek. No, we are not gay (not that there is anything wrong with that).
That was really eleven and a half minutes worth watching.

@7pulford : "Proud" means it sits "above the surface. In this instance the dowel sits forward of the face of the middle piece.

Oh dear. I didn't reealise that wood working projects had to be useful. I'm very sorry. I will keep this in mind for any future projects.
Are there any alternatives for someone who doesn't have a pillar drill to achieve the straight hole for the dowel? Cheers
What saw are you using to take off the extra before gluing the bottoms on?

I like your workmanship but I fail to see the use of a box that is filled with other boxes leaving no room for anything else!! The only actual storage room you have is in the very smallest box that doesn't have a box inside it.
