I think the bit about being single hit me hard. I'm the type who is "pathetically single" where it's something that gets to me enough that I make cracks about it & "dying alone" on a semi regular basis. In part it could be because people tend to disappoint me or I feel like I'm constantly talking to a wall but I need to learn to just breath because being single may just be what I need. Maybe that's short term maybe forever but to constantly hate on the concept instead of embracing it more messes with your outlook on other things.
My new years resolution is to audition for a college theater summer camp, although I’m a freshman and Ik how hard it is.
I hope Ryan and Sam reads this cuz it would motivate me so much!! 🥰

Come back here to say that ever since you guys uploaded this video I have found myself really aware of all the times I feel like apologizing for things I don't need to apologize for, and unconsciously it became something that I'm working on myself. So, thank you!
My 3 goals for 2023:
1) Graduate with my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
2) Being able to finally drive by myself (no supervisor needed from my family)
3) Hopefully travel for the first time to the Florida Panhandle before I travel out of state across this country
first of all "YOU NEED A JELL-O SHOT" (bc the light died). iykyk. second, omg I've DEFINITELY been told by an ex that i'm "too sensitive", on that note- hate that I JUST thought of this and not when you initially asked. My new years resolution is to take my mind off of work as soon as I'm off the clock every day. They don't deserve my time and energy when I'm not there.
personally i am NOT proud of my music taste or my spotify wrapped, but i dont care as long as i enjoy and listen to the songs :)) just suprised there werent more musicals on there ngl

To add to the discussion about why women often end up in “fixer” positions in relationships: I think it has something to do with how many women are taught from an early age to be caretakers and that it’s selfish to ask for someone to meet your needs. Consequently, many women can only conceptualize themselves being loved as long as they are being useful to their partner, in other words through taking care of them. But this dynamic only works if the partner in question has something they need taken care of, and this doesn’t really work with healthy, well-adjusted men who know how to take care of their own needs and care for their partner as well. So instead, women tend to go for “bad boys “because those men need caretaking and it’s a constant continuous cycle of needs that are never truly met and issues are never truly fixed, so a woman can constantly feel useful and convince herself that he will love her as long as she is of use to him.
Resolutions read: "To be single, at least this year" or "To get into a relationship this year"
Me: To not be pressured into a relationship again, at least every year.
