These are fascinating! I had no idea there were others who had attempted such concepts. I'd LOVE a Steinwinter for something to drive in the city, not to pull anything, just to drive and make people ask questions.
the steinwinter is a good start for a truck better equipped than modern european trucks. Instead of putting the cabin under the trailer it's possible to keep only the idea of an engine placed at the rear of the vehicule and to extend the chassi which save space under the cabin where the engine is supposed to be on a conventionnal truck. this space can be use as a sleeper boxe and the space saved behind the driver can be use for a shower or things like this (the radiator at the front like on conventionnal trucks to improve cooling...the possibility to find room to place water tank and sewer water tank...remove the passenger seat and you can add a cooking zone etc...at the end you can create an appartement on wheels for truck driver while respecting the lenght regulations)
Reduced height access to cabs seems to have caught on in the US with solid waste packer style trucks that still use human loaders. Reduces climbing in and out body mechanics.
👍👍👍👍
Where do you learn these things this is amazing knowledge

Класс❤❤❤
I wouldn't want my forehead to be used as a bumper for tens of thousands of pounds of cargo.
Pipe carriers like the Tatra truck are quite common. There are similar trucks that were built by Terberg and Tekne.
Its revolutionized the first idea and failed the last concept
Last one's a puzzle. Maybe it's for hauling pipes in tunnels?

That last truck would've been great for a heavy haul truck & put a fifth wheel on it so it can hook up to a lowboy trailer
Маркетологи готовы загнать и под рамы грузовиков водителей ради прибыли....
There's no point to the first one given that everything revolves around sea containers or loads that'll fit in one.
