- Опубликовано: 9 мар 2022
- From 1986 to 1987, the LeSabre was Buick’s entry into the NASCAR Cup Series, with the two-car Stavola Brothers Racing team of Bobby Allison and Bobby Hillin and King Racing’s single-car effort bringing the marque to the track. The car quickly became recognized as a force to be reckoned with on superspeedways; Allison gave the LeSabre its first victory at Talladega Superspeedway in May 1986, Hillin completed the Talladega sweep later that summer, and Allison added another win at Daytona the following July. Now’s your chance to integrate Buick’s entry in one of NASCAR’s fastest eras and see if you can get the most out of it.

The boxy NASCAR's of the 80s are definitely my favourites visually.
NASCAR is an organization. Not a car.
@@TheRealDill93 well what do you call the cars then? To me NASCAR is the name of the organisation and what you call a car that races in the series. Like you call a F1 car a F1 car. However different because NASCAR car doesn't sound right.
@@neblolthecarnerd they’re called stock cars actually. I get where you’re coming from. But stock car would be the appropriate word for them. 👍
@@TheRealDill93 yea I know stock car is the technical term. I prefer to use NASCARs because it is a lot more understandable in a non car guy/non NASCAR fan situation or a situation where NASCAR isn't the topic at hand. Especially since a lot of other series label themselves as stock cars. For example Brazilian stock cars and some classes in banger racing here in the UK.
Well you can always say NASCAR race car or Cup Series car. Those are some that I use sometimes. You could also use American stock car, but I'm not sure how general or specific that is.
This soundtrack is perfect.
Reminds me of Days of Thunder
It's great that we have North Wilkesboro skinned for 1987, but it would be cool to have more old school tracks to run these on. We don't really need versions of Daytona, Charlotte, Phoenix, Michigan or Pocono from 2008 anymore, right? Re-skin them to look like tracks from 1987! :D
Definitely
pity we can't get Riverside, that's the one to get
@@AlonsoRules If you're talking about the Riverside road course unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore and as far as I know was never laser-scanned before being torn up. Maybe someday iRacing will do historic fantasy tracks but for now their brand is depicting real life tracks as best they can. With the exception of iRacing Superspeedway, but that's a legacy Papyrus thing.
Imagine the thinner walls 👌
i would love for iRacing to bring an early-mid 90s Indycar, like 1993 or 1994 season
I hear “Lasabre” in the voice if Derek from Vice Grip Garage when I read it. “Lah-SAH-bray!”
This is gonna be a good day, with Dunder Mifflin and sah-bray.
You think he checked the sparkilators yet?
Love the 80s Monte Carlos, Grand Prixs, Regals, and the Cutlass. Awesome cars.
I believe they used Delta 88's that year.
OK, you might have just lured me into this car....always loved the Buick.
with the right kind of image editing, you could disguise it at as the Oldsmobile Cutlass from the same year :3
1:04 Loss of control (2x)
That's more than a 2x lol
The music sounded like it came from 1987 too.
Keep up the good work iRacing.
thank you Dale!
Release the Pontiac grand Prix stock car next
Love the old school stuff. Y’all should consider scanning Middle Georgia Speedway &/or Columbia Speedway & have it come out with a 1970 Nascar pack that has say the Daytonas, Talladegas, & Monte Carlos that would’ve raced
Epic set of cars. Keep it coming, iRacing!
They introduce a new Nascar an American Southern accent. They introduce a new Brasil Stockcar with a Brasilian accent. iRacing doing a good job with the immersion.
Love to see more content with these cars. My favorite NASCAR era.
Time for some late 80’s early 90’s indycars
I got really confused the other day doing a legends race and I saw a car that look like a mix of the monte and the thunderbird. Now I know I’m not crazy they added a new car
Now bring the 1988-1992 Olds Cutlass.
Days of Thunder Vibes
I think I speak for everyone when I say ARCA cars need to be AI available next.
ARCA second. We NEED dirt AI.
@@74mracerManixFurqueron nah, dirt just isn't important
@@josephpenn1115 An arca car is a gen 6 with less power. I think over half of iRacing would rather have dirt. After all, half of the iRacers on iRacing run dirt ovals.
The NEXT Gen car first
@@NASCAR_Junk honestly yes, that should have came out on release.
The 80s cars were so cool. Best boxes
Got Days of Thunder vibes from the cars and the music :3
Now that we are covering the late 1980's how about 1995-1999 seasons for nascar
Now with the 87 Chevy Monte Carlo 87 ford thunderbird and now 87 Buick lesabre finally complete it with 87 Pontiac Grand Prix and we are all set
The Music is on point
Give us what we voted for. The Pontiac Grand Prix.
Buick LeSabre NASCAR Winston Cup Series And Busch Grand National Series From The 80s And Early 90s ☺😎
This is great! I just bought the Monty Carlo but I’m not ranked high enough to race it yet. I don’t care if all I can do is test. Definitely gonna be getting this one too. lol
I drive these cars evertime iracing serves them up. I think I'm the only one that drives the bud Moore Motorcraft paint scheme and I'm 15 of course. The Moore family are great friends and my Spencer logo is nascar hall of fame in honor of bud Moore. Too many Earnhardt and Elliott paint jobs out there. Be unique people. Look forward to seeing you on track
What happened to the '87 Buick Grand National?
I hope they brought back the 20:1 steering box it was so much fun wheeling it
I noticed the car is listed under ROAD when I was looking to purchase it. Maybe on the old website only? I didn't check UI yet.
GIVE US THE REGAL TOO
Would love to see Pontiacs and Olds eventually.
This is awesome, I'd like to see the 06-07 low nose cup cars or early 2000s cup cars
Isn't that what the arca car just less power
Purée, iracing vous régalez ! Piloter la voiture de Dale Jr sera un honneur pour moi (bon faut que je trouve 30 € pour acheter la voiture et le type de circuit qui va avec)
We need new dirt road cars next build
Awesome!
oh yes
How about an Olds next please
WOOOOOOOOO
So when we getting dodges?
Fred Jones has a cool car
Where’s the Olds
Add the GRAND PRIX 🗣️ 🗣️
Are you going to add British Touring Cars???
I doubt it, TCR is as close as we are gonna get.
@@MarvelousFool why though? Licensing? They should strive to include as many popular series as they can.
@@bear1245 Motorsport Games are currently making a BTCC game, so I presume licensing is an issue as well
Where's the Pontiac and Oldsmobiles
Did Jr call it the LesabRA?
Let’s go
🤩
Looks fast and loose!
LeSabruh
LeSay-brah?
@iRacing Your leaving almost half of your and entire Sim Racing community out of AI. We NEED dirt AI. I use it to make setups and see how they race against other cars. Also people can learn a car before ruining someone else's day bc they don't know what they are doing yet. Please bring us dirt AI. And dirt car at this point just add it. NR2003 has dirt AI and the cars can somewhat run sideways. I know all that is different now but I'm saying bc you guys were kind of once Papyrus, why can't you have dirt AI now when you could have it in the early 2000's. I know there was nothing dirt in the game when it came out but there was shortly after. Please bring us some dirt AI like Super Latemodels and any of the tracks or something.
So Many other car options from this time frame
WHY this junk
