Hello di , I'm Yashraj pandey , a 2nd prof student . I always wanted to have proper notes of each subject but never was able to do that. I've been just studying pyq's and attempting exams. can you please make a video in Sheer detail about how to make notes for each subject. The problem with me is that I don't understand the mindset of taking notes. I have always wondered where to take notes from . Either I have to take notes from the book or from the video lectures. If from the book then what should I write & what to skip. What to draw & What not to. And the problem is that I know these parameters will change with every chapter of all the different subjects. so can you please explain to me in such a manner that there will be no doubt about how to approach while taking notes. You can cover all the subjects & I will watch it every year😅. I really hope you will make a video on this. Don't know about others but it will be of absolute significance for me. Have a very detailed Video that covers every aspect of note taking and most importantly what to write in notes. I do have some other doubts which I'll ask over time. Thank you :)
Hello, so I always suggest to cover subjects of your year first. Making notes from video lectures is the best for you right now because you’re in 2nd year and there’s still a long time before neet. Watch the video lectures for patho, pharma, microbio and try to actively make notes. So for me, I would almost write everything that the professor explained in that particular video because I could not leave anything out😅. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad, but that’s how I did it initially. Then eventually as you keep on solving pyqs and mcqs, you realise what all is high yield in the notes that you’ve written and for subsequent reads you can focus on that particular part. That being said, I’ll try to make a video about taking notes as well.
@radhika3531 Actually I've been attempting exams by solving pyq's only. But this time I'm convinced that studying a standard textbook is really necessary and I will use video lectures just for my ease of understanding. But many of my batchmates & seniors have suggested me not to study from standard books & rather read from the app notes but I want to study the books & have a note of Having said that preparing notes for 19 subject is a difficult task and I may miss out key points while writing.I'm in a dilemma between app notes or preparing and studying from my own notes. Personally, I'm from a private College and most of my batchmates & seniors are busy finding the easiest way of passing exams. I want to catch the competition outside of my college by preparing myself in the best way possible & as i'm in my 2nd year these small things like studying standard books, preparing my own note and few other tips that you may guide will help me in the long run . I will be needing your guidance throughout the journey as you are someone who has faced all of this. Thank you :)
Ma’am I have a small doubt. How the first revision is ideally supposed to be? Like, are we supposed to read A to Z of the subject? Or should we study the entirety of any coaching notes and videos? Like, let’s say surgery and there are many TNM stagings and classifications. So do you study each and every thing or just the pyts? And also subjects with heavy concepts, is it necessary to dig deeper in any subject?
No need to dig deep into any subject. The first revision is supposed to be pyq focussed. Try to streamline your revision into studying only high yield topics carefully.
I was just watching your dissection vedio of hibiscus which was uploaded 6 years ago So I wonder u cracked neet UG in first attempt As an aspirant I was curious and i wonder how was ur preparation back then
Di, congratulations on your awesome results🎉. I'm in my first year , so I'm reading standard Textbooks , and i male notes from an online platform, so Those notes r only the "main notes" that u r mentioning or is it something different?. . Majorly my notes r from coaching lectures and I add few points from the standard textbook so that will be good ?? or should i do something else? please Guide. Thankyou!🤍
Yes that is enough, in first and second year try to read standard textbooks. Main notes are basically notes you make from coaching only, like marrow or dams. However in first year try to focus on college work and standard textbooks
I don’t really remember my marks of first gt, but I think I got 104 or something right. Gt marks will automatically improve with more no. of revisions, and try to practice the elimination wala strategy that I recommended.
Hi, I wouldn’t suggest that. I personally tried doing only the revision videos of anatomy but I soon realised that they’re missing a lot of important points in that. Rather than that, I would suggest do it from the main notes and mark only the PYTs and focus on them
Yes I did try learning from the first read only. See initially you do not feel that you’ve retained anything, not by the 2nd revision atleast. You just have to trust yourself and keep going even if you feel like you don’t remember things
Hello, in third minor and final year, I mainly focused on the subjects of those years and making my concepts strong by watching marrow videos and making hand written notes. So by the time internship started I was thorough with them. During internship I covered 1st and 2nd year subjects Pehle from printed notes directly and finished the first reading of those subjects.
Great question, I’ve always had a struggle with finding the right source for medicine. I did medicine in final year from Quest classes by Dr. Sushant who teaches mainly the clinical aspects of medicine, not so much focused on mcqs. So my concepts of medicine became strong which I believe is very important. As for the notes, I followed quest ke notes only, and added things along the way to my notes from mcqs and pyqs.
For the 1st reading (not the 1st revision) did u read marrow revision notes or those chunky marrow books ? Also any idea whats the cut off for medicine in gov seat 😅
I haven’t really done marrow revision notes. For the first read, I read from the handwritten notes that I made myself from marrow videos for major subjects, for minor subjects, I read from marrow printed notes and PrepLadder printed notes for different subjects. I’m not really sure about the cut off for medicine, I think if you’re open category, it should be under 1k.
Hmm U seem pretty. Acha i have a suggestion start vlogging and also I want u to ask urself a question why would people need ur advice regarding medics? When already there r people doing so.like Anuj Patel , aman tilak , Aryan raj (highly credible)
I follow them myself and they are absolutely amazing, I believe every person has something different that they bring to the table and different experiences and journeys, so why not share whatever you’ve learnt along the way :)
huh.... I get where you're coming from, but I believe everyone has their own unique perspective and story to share, regardless of how many ‘big names’ are out there. She's not here to compete with anyone - just sharing what she knows and what she has learned, hoping it might help someone who relates to her approach. If her content resonates, great; if not, no worries! She's passionate about what she does, and if it can make a difference for even one person, that’s more than enough for her. Take a chill, bro! Frankly, the pretty aspect was unnecessary! That's my suggestion to ask yourself if that was required to waste energy typing.

@radhika3531 Okay di, Thankyou so much!🤍✨️
Your strategy was mostly similar to mine..
Glad it worked out for both of us...
🤞
what branch are you trying to secure?
I’ll be perusing OBGY
Hi mam, when to start solving pyqs i am in third year.
As soon as possible
Marks in your 1st GT? And how to improve from saturation point of marks in GTs?
I don’t really remember my marks of first gt, but I think I got 104 or something right. Gt marks will automatically improve with more no. of revisions, and try to practice the elimination wala strategy that I recommended.
Mam only revision videos of marrow are sufficient for neet pg except med surgery and obgy??
Hi, I wouldn’t suggest that. I personally tried doing only the revision videos of anatomy but I soon realised that they’re missing a lot of important points in that. Rather than that, I would suggest do it from the main notes and mark only the PYTs and focus on them

@radhika3531 thank u radhika
Pyq konse krne hai

Try to do both but if you’re short on time, then solve neet wale first and then aiims
Which branch and clg ur taking...
I’ll be opting for Obgy, not sure about college
Plz make video on sources that u used for your preparation
Interstellar?
