The great advice of Zuckerberg that truly inspired me is: Learn from your employees. I went further to make it a recruitment rule. If you can't teach me something new, I won't be able to hire you. :) Thanks for such amazing video series. You send lots of inspiration and hope to all those trying to make their own companies.

The best out of the top 10 mark's golden rules was' we care more bout it' Becoz u know many people think a lot but the one who cares the most steps forward and does it!
+mero40k There are several factors in achieving success. These include: Taking control of your own health. Learning about the power of your mind. Following the path of people who have already done what you plan to do. One resource I found that combines these is the Magic Progress Shortcut (google it if you're interested) definately the most useful info on success that I've seen. Check out this awesome resource.
draco-draco you do know that programming languages back then werent as updated as the ones of now right? Plus, people studied only using books to learn how to code, RUclips was not yet invented around Facebook became a thing, where hundreds of videos were are made for free
not to afraid of making mistakes. As a stater entrepreneur mistakes is bound to happen, the key point is never give up, give it more push, be persistence and you will get there...
The rules that mean the most to me are: 9. Care most about it. 10. Social bonds are critical (because this is important to Mark personally, he produced this belief into a programm -Facebook-)
Can you add a video for Travis Kalanick (Co-founder for Uber) and Evan Spiegel (Co-founder for Snapchat)? It will be extremely amazing and great if you make these videos! I will really appreciate! :) Thanks!
#4 "Only hire people you would work for." Never heard that before. Excellent advice. #9. Care the most about it. I love that Facebook wasn't an original idea, that there were other companies doing social networking who had bigger resources but Facebook won because they cared the most. I love that.
@@Spedfree tell that to the artists who are making tens of thousands or even millions of dollars. A young prodigy artist was painting since she was a child. I think she's 30 now; her pieces sell for thousands of dollars and she was able to support her entire family and send her siblings to college off of her paintings. @visualmind, YOU CAN DO IT! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I liked how Mark Zuckerberg talked about hiring people that you would like to work with. My life has been building in an intuitive relationship with my love for creating a community that is not underlined by a label. I've talked to people, as myself, having a disability or issue in their lives to bring hope and courage that life isn't just a dead end road. I'm building up my social network everyday, venturing out in the future will be my ultimate success to show who someone would like to work with... like myself! It's difficult to be criticized of what I have not created and be judged, then put myself to work and hope for courage, within myself. Exposure, I get, a lot from Facebook... entails the kind of entrepreneur Mark is and the difficulty it is to accept social behavior and not let it be just a job. It's very inspiring. I enjoyed how he talked about social networks of business relations. I am currently challenging myself on what influences me to have a social network with in business and also, what is opening up my work ethic to see what achievement I can believe in and ultimately be successful in. #BelieveNation
I've got this new idea or term I think that is causing a lot of depression in the world and it is called D.I.D which is termed Digital Isolative Depresion, where people isolate them selfs using a digital device or sat in front of a computers all day and losing contact with real people, friends and their community. I feel Fb is a contributing factor to D.i.d as it makes people to lazy to phone or visit their friends because everyone is looking at status updates to catch up on friends! I think Mark suckerberg has stolen real relationships TBH and I think it needs to corrected and get back to real community! What you think?
Mark, that is obvious and true. It's something new to the environment and people need to learn to adapt just like every other new thing in history. Эпсилон И, "a stupidity"? why? and what does that have to do with 10 rules for success? I think it's generally people who are really stupid and in self-denial that blame success on things like luck and even 'illuminati'.
Veritosophy, fisrt of all, there are stupid people who use a stupidity such as Facebook, but it doesn't mean everyone who uses FB is stupid. Zuckerberg is not a stupid guy. :) The reason that FB is a stupidity consists in what people publish and how FB uses user's data. Obviously there are people who know how to use FB well. ;-) Sencondly, my comment has two unrelated points. 1) FB is stupid and 2) there are other sites as FB with different "10 rules" and others with the same. Thirdly, I agree with you, but I mean, rationally speaking the 10 rules doesn't work as a RULE, it's a matter of luck. I've been following Facebook since 2006 when it was a impopular site unlike MySpace and other sites. Illuminatis LOL...
Lifey Missions Yeah he's watching all of your private information. Funny how no one ever believe me when I mention it before it happen in the future. Why is it that people think other people that could predict the future and know the actual truth are crazy but then as soon as when that said person that was thought as crazy is right sometimes the people who dismissed him or her ends up begging on their knees either literally or metaphorically basically saying we should have listened to you.
I think Zuckerberg really developed his passion for social connections, and kind of complements it with his programming skills and computer connection. But what I really found useful in these 10, is his advice on how he chooses his employee "only hire people you would work for". Nice way to grow 'right'.... as you step 'right'.... but it can get pretty tricky if it creates a firewall between you and other people whom you didn't step "right" to appreciate.
He said there are 7 billion people in the world and he wants to connect all of them, that's deep. No wonder he's doing so excellent in business. Limitless thinking.
I think it only means that he accepted a very low pay as a CEO at the start of their venture because he is focused on building the business and he loves what he is doing and eventually when the company became big, he is now earning millions. :) I hope that explains it. #BTA387 Shine
I think it just means that he's a billionaire off his assets and investments that he doesn't need an employment salary as CEO so he takes $1 to keep his position official as CEO (paid position) but he'd rather have the money go back into Facebook since it wouldn't add up to much for him
I would love that! Then Facebook would have answer even more questions of security matters at the Congress and maybe, just maybe they would fire him just to save the company!!!! hahahahahahahahahaha Zuckerboy
You do not compare Gates with Zuckerberg. Both in the same sentence is an affront. Microsoft is 10000000000000000000000000000000x times the worth of facebook!!!!!!!!
Zuckerbers should never be compared with Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and much less Bill Gates. What's trillions of dollars in front of 90bn??????? Zuckerberg made nothing but a website!! A WEBSITE!!! while Bill Gates will introduce to use The Holographic User Interface Operating System!!!! You want to compare THAT with Zuckerberg's WEBSITE of "social mission" (which is going down btw)????????? Have respect towards previous leaders!!!!
All the points of his success are great and outstanding but the one that I love it is the first rule that he applied in his personal and business life : you get what you spend your time doing". Hope him more success.
Hey Evan, I love your brand! Keep inspiring entrepreneurs! I love #4 Only hire people you would work for! If we desire to achieve anything meaningful; we have to been committed to excellence! Cheers!

Hey Evan, how about Oprah's top 10 Rules for success? Or have I just not found it yet? As for Mark: #1 You get what you spend your time on and #10 Social bonds are critical; these are true for any business.

First or of all I want to thank you and the entire team that works behind the scenes to create all of this great content and if you don't mind a suggestion for Anthony Hopkins to be part of the 10 rules for success series. Great actor, musician and painter. Also the way his mind process thoghts and ideas is slightly, the least, superior to the average inteligence. Peace and keep the great work coming. Thanks for your time!
Very inspirational. A Dr. Kani Blackwell, a retired University of Hawaii professor of teacher Education, dreams of creating a project based school. She needs a person in her corner. She hopes to start a new charter school in Kaua'i. I hope you can find her. Aloha and welcome to Kaua'i!
Thank you Mark Zuckerberg for your Top 10 Rules for Success. Thank you Carmichael for this video.I like Mark"s ideas-Importance of Team Members and Experiments-Dr.B.S.Kovvali.
Hi Evan. This is one of the most interesting and exciting videos of yours that I have ever seen. I am getting to learn a lot of things abt building a business from this video of yours. I really enjoy watching these kind of videos. Pls try to make more videos of this kind so that I can get to learn a lot from them about building a business Evan. Thank you.
"Build a really good team." I admit it's not my strength to work in a lot of people. Some people prefer to work independently and is more productive without too may eyes looking at them. However, I also feel that I will not go far without people to chit chat with to enjoy the journey. At the end of the day, it's not just about the output. It's also about the experiences you made with your colleagues while producing it or the clients you served that will make you become fulfilled.
My favourite rule had to be rule 6.This is because yes he is right we should truly learn from one another and grow in experience and this is what we humans are for.Recently, I've been working on this and I guess I've changed a lot as a person.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lydran. Great to know that you are focused on learning from others to be the best version of yourself. Keep learning...always #Believe! :) #BTA478 Shine
_1_ You get what you spend your time doing. _2_ Get feedback. _3_ Make mistakes. _4_ Only hire people who you would work for. _5_ Make a change in the world. _6_ Learn from the people around you. _7_ Build a really good team. _8_ Give the very best experience. _9_ Care the most about it. _10_ Social bonds are critical.
hello Evan, which one of the rules is the most common among all of the rules of the successful people? I noticed HARD WORK, and PASSION FOR WHAT YOU DO,
Outstanding series. Just found it the other day; already seen about ten of them, and looks like there's enough to keep me busy for a while. How about Reed Hastings?
Life's mistakes are your building blocks, so make more building blocks to create where you want to live. The building blocks will be of a better quality, and will stand the test of time, for a great future.
Hi Evan. I am a big fan of your Top 10 rules and I keep on listening to them every single day at work. Can you please make a Top 10 rules for Manny Pacquiao? I sure love this boxer for his humility and being a great boxer. Thank you.
As a writer I loved this: Publish really good content that's going to be compelling to your customers who are following you! Thanks for another great vid Evan Carmichael. I'll be sharing!!
I am coming up with a huge online business and.. Like.. after watching this video it feels like oh yeah.. its the same thing that I would I spoke even if I had not watched the video.. its common.. all u got to do is just look around.. think creative.. think crazy.. experiment.. make mistakes and repeat them until u get to that one IDEA which can bring a change! and if u have thought that faaar then believe me.. u cant be stopped by any competition.. criticism or what so ever it could be on your way to become the next billionaire.. and its not always about money.. yes ultimate returns would be money but at times u got to think something social. it would not matter if its going to be something online or retail.. manufacturing or any product or service. omg.. see i said I could talk.. 😊 I shall stop here and wish u all good luck! believe in ur self!
There are lot of people in the comments who think Mark has 'stolen' the idea and built Facebook. I don't know what the truth is but I am sure for one thing that it is easy to reach to the top but it is difficult to stay there. Facebook throughout these years have just grown bigger and bigger which is enough to show Mark's potential as an entrepreneur.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts ronak. It's just not about the idea - it only matters when you make it happen and as you said you are able to sustain it just like what Mark did. :) #Believe #BTA514 Shine
I like No.9. People during the past and nearby have similar ideas? Why us? It needs lots of care, energy and perseverance you believe. Don't give up, keep experiment with valuable feedbacks and adapt quickly.
Thank you very much for your suggestion but it would be great if you could post your request under this video: ruclips.net/video/0arZb0xLIDMI/видео.htmlf more people would vote or like your request and there are available videos/clips for it, we might do a Top 10 rules video for it. Nice way to grow 'right'.... as you step 'right'.... but it can get pretty tricky if it creates a firewall between you and other people whom you didn't step "right" to appreciate.
+Yasmine M.Elkhodary Interesting way of thinking. Thank you for sharing with us, and thanks for watching! #BTA119 Luka
number 11: join the Illuminati
+iluvmaryam Number 12: offer more money to the Snapchat guys.
+iluvmaryam number 13: become Mark Zuckerberg's clone
+Builder Games Can you handle any quantity?
+iluvmaryam Number 15: Steal ideas
+Fabian Gregory I HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM FACEBOOK FOR OVER TWO WEEK'S NOW.
He said there are 7 billion people in the world and he wants to connect all of them, that's deep. No wonder he's doing so excellent in business. Limitless thinking.
Thanks for the comment and for watching Juvey, for sure you can also pursue what you love to do and make an impact. #Believe #BTA209 Shine
Thank you for the encouragement. Bless.
He is almost going to jail by now... for what he did with his "excellent business" with no vision.
Zuckerberg receives a one dollar salary as CEO of Facebook. - What does that mean?
I think it only means that he accepted a very low pay as a CEO at the start of their venture because he is focused on building the business and he loves what he is doing and eventually when the company became big, he is now earning millions. :) I hope that explains it. #BTA387 Shine
I think it just means that he's a billionaire off his assets and investments that he doesn't need an employment salary as CEO so he takes $1 to keep his position official as CEO (paid position) but he'd rather have the money go back into Facebook since it wouldn't add up to much for him
He is like the first person I noticed who is getting Interviewed actually speaking to the audience and the interviewing person ...👌💯 good tips 👍
Thanks for watching :) #BTA1419 Veljko
Hit like if you want MARK zukerberg to join POLITICS!!....I DO
Thanks for the comment and for watching. :) #BTA400 Shine
Harry Bedi no....
I would love that! Then Facebook would have answer even more questions of security matters at the Congress and maybe, just maybe they would fire him just to save the company!!!! hahahahahahahahahaha Zuckerboy
+ Matt Petersen We need more Jews who support Jews and not Muslims.
I mean, it has to be more homogene. Zuckerboy ignoring Jews is an affront the way he does
I will use Mark's 10 rules. There are some I agree with like creating strong social bonds. Thanks for sharing!
Jeff
+Jeff McGuire Woot. Thanks. #BTA19 Nina
Gates and Zuckerberg, both are examples of the adage "Better to be lucky than good". Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, driven visionaries.
Isuzu Buyer
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching. #BTA355 Shine
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and for watching asuda. :) #BelieveNation #BTA308 Shine
just be a gangster. .better off

Hey Evan, how about Oprah's top 10 Rules for success? Or have I just not found it yet? As for Mark: #1 You get what you spend your time on and #10 Social bonds are critical; these are true for any business.
We already profiled her.
Thanks for the suggestion EdyB. I will pass it on to #BelieveTeam. :) Thank you very much for the appreciation and for watching! #BTA374 Shine

Thank you.
Thank you so much for the love and support, really glad to know you are learning from it. 😊 #Believe - Feb
+Candy M Thanks for sharing. #BTA30 Nina
"Make a change in the world" is the rule I found most meaningful. He is managing to do that, so why can't I?
+Jb Muniz You can. :) Thanks for watching. #BTA87 Ivan

The building blocks will be of a better quality, and will stand the test of time, for a great future.

Thank you so much my friends and family.
+Ramesh Seervi Awesome stuff, good luck with your online business. And always #Believe in yourself. :) #BTA95 Ivan
My takeaways are : 1. Learn from the people around you 2. Have social bonds
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Prasad. Glad you learned from the video. :) #BelieveNation #BTA433 Shine
