On 40:45 at the end there i analyze the clip frame by frame. And i noticed on the firing button on the top left (partially blocked by your webcam) you only pressed one tap on it, not holding it. Maybe your finger slipped, maybe the timer blocked it, but that was my only conclusion. The single-fire wasn't possible as the gun on full auto, the last bullet on the chamber also wasn't possible as the fully loaded mag already on the gun (You change it on 40:24 litteraly 20 second before it happened).
