    I just picked one of these up and it is fantastic. Great tones. Love the neck. Very similar to my Clapton Strat neck.

    I saw Jerry Donahue playing a small pub gig with his band in the late 90s---I think they were called the Back Room Boys. Jerry was playing the Japanese made version which he said he preferred to the Custom Shop model. Long since discontinued by Fender but if anybody wants the same switching system Fret-King and sister company Vintage both produce their own versions.

    I have a MIJ 96 tele. Double binding, three barrel bridge, V neck. Would not sell it for anything.
