- We moved! Well, moving for us is very relative. We have a new home for the next 6 weeks or so and we are so incredibly excited! But where did we move and why? We have moved to Krakow, Poland. Why Poland? First of all, our brother in law is Polish so for years we have been wanting to get to know where is he is from and where our nieces and nephews have gone to school and spent summers and Christmases. Also, we feel like Poland is a little overlooked and we like that. Well, we don't like that it is overlooked but we enjoy going to places that are a little off the radar in terms of the most popular places for Americans to travel to. But why spend 6 weeks in Poland whenever we could travel all of Europe during that time? You will have to watch the video for that one! 😎

Hello there 👋🏻 After spending the last month in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico we are really excited to be in our new "home" for the next 6 weeks! You might be wondering why we only published one video in Mexico if we were there for a month. Besides attempting to learn to box, we spent the month spending time with our family and showing them around the beautiful city! It was really special to not only experience Mexico with our family, but to do so without filming those experiences. We definitely had some video worthy experiences but the truth is that we have never experienced Mexico without documenting it and posting it online for the world to see. It felt really special to have experiences and memories that are only between us and our family 😃The next time we are in Mexico I am sure you will get a full slate of videos! But until then I hope that you enjoy our Poland series 🇵🇱 and I KNOW that you will love where we are going after Poland... 🤔
Hint: 🇫🇷 🇭🇷
Have fun
Mexico will miss you
Croatia! It's beeeyooteeeful in Croatia!
PV is calling you guys ....lol
Great 👍
Many Mexicans have love and respect for Poland...and do you know why?
I was in Europe this year and Poland was my personal favorite out of the 7 countries I visited. It was hot when I was there and had to ditch my clothes for warm weather clothes. I visited 7 cities and stayed for 2 months.
Krakow is incredible. We were there in July and loved it - friendly people, so much history, great architecture. Enjoy
I love how Poland opened her heart to the people from Ukraine. Such lovely people.
as a Mexican travelling around Poland in 2017 it was amazing and definitely a unique experience! People absolutely loved when they heard i was from Mexico. Many astonishingly mentioned they had family in Mexico. It was interesting when we were lost and asked of directions and people only spoke polish lol.

My late father was Polish. So I'm eagerly awaiting your videos to learn about his parent's homeland.
So exciting! I've been wanting to visit Poland for many years now and I'm glad to see that you'll be staying for a while. Can't wait to see what adventures you two get up to! Also glad to see you guys slow down a bit. Slow travel is where it's at. ❤
Thank you! We are so very excited to be here and dig deep!
Poland! Wow. Should be interesting. A lot of history there.
I'm glad you're staying longer, you'll get so much more out of this adventure. I can't wait to see you try all the food - Anne
we're so thankful to be staying longer!
I love Krakow. Was there in 2009ish. The square is so awesome. The chair memorial made me cry so hard. Just standing in the place where all those horrific things happened really touches you.
I've met many Polish people and they were all amazingly nice. have fun !
So cool. We are Polish and we moved to Puerto Vallarta! Take care guys and enjoy those zapiekanki and kielbasa :)
oh wow! What a small world! Enjoy the warm beach for us and we will eat plenty of pierogis for you :)
@@kinetickennons sounds like a fair deal :)
I'm sorry, but y'all two belong in Vallarta, can't think of that place without thinking of y'all
I am with you on going to lesser known places! Do I really need to see another Paris video? I know nothing about Poland and really interested in seeing what you get up to.
we are SO excited to be here!
I’m so excited to experience Poland through you two!
woohoo! It's going to be a blast!
Ah, so happy to see you guys here! My homeland!! =) I'm curious how your time there will be! Super overlooked - it has the sea, the mountains, the forests... all of it! Make sure to go to Zakopane and have oscypek!
jesteście cudowni 😊
pozdrawiam 😄
Love this. Go Poland!
Fantastic! I am jealous! Enjoy, eat , try fresh paczki...wodka Zubrowka...travel up north east Bialystok...super cool. I will be watching you guys.
Okay, I have two questions:
When Amsterdam?
And
Amsterdam when???
Also, Amsterdam? 🇳🇱
Well Poland is fine , I have been there , Krakow has good night life, and life is too short to keep apologizing for your mistakes, just move on, one of my friends and his family took a cruise 4 years back and traveled through 12 countries, starting from Copenhagen, Denmark and ending in St Petersburg, Russia, he booked the cruise through Costco, may be you should look into it, if you are Costco member, drinks are unlimited btw😀,
Enjoy Krakow guys, Cheers 🥂
thank you! Excited to be here!
Poland has great coffee bars so check with your sister for the good cafe’s. I was in Krakow in July and spent many a morning incafe’s.
Im so excited you are in Poland.
Krakow is awesome! Intrigued to see how you adjust!
You guys are spot on about slowing down to savor each place. I look forward to more
So just yesterday, in a cafe in Mexico City, I had a conversation with a remote worker who just came for a month and she had mentioned she lived in Warsaw for a few years as a child. (I don’t think they were Polish, maybe it was a work situation.) And I had spent a couple of months in Warsaw in 2019 and again at the start of the Ukrainian war. We both loved Poland and agreed that it is a hidden gem! Have a great time!!
oh wow--what a small world!
Slow travel is so much more interesting. I'd love to visit Poland. Look forward to more. Will you be showing us where you're staying?
thanks for visit alongside us!
I’ve been following you guys all throughout Mexico. I can’t wait to see Poland through your eyes. Enjoy!
Enjoy Life can't wait to see Christmas videos from you guys .
Omg I get to see Krakow through you guys! This is amazing! I work with an amazing team in Poland remotely! One day I will have to visit! Hope you guys have a lot of fun!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Testing out your Northern European heritage with the seasonal cold? Never saw this one 😊However onwards and upwards people… Always compelling videos. Keep up the good work 😎And… you learn more from your mistakes than your victories..
Wow, it looks nice there, enjoy your stay!
I love your current direction. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
You both are so amazing! Thank you for sharing!
How exciting for you! What happened to your coffee company?
Welcome guys 😊
The world is too big to just stay in one place. Great going guys!
Poland is a great place! You have a military buildup to be aware of going on around you at the moment. Stay safe!
Nice choice you two kids...Poland is going to be a fabulous place to spend 6 weeks. Have so much fun! Peace.
thank you Colleen! Excited to bring you along!
Thanks!
rose filling is literally made from rose petals and sugar. this kind of jam can be made by yourself at home, if you know how to make basic preserves and find a recipe on the internet
fantastic choice - beautiful city!!
Welcome back.
Europe is definitely the realistic alternative to Puerto Vallarta,.
You just gotta go with the weather. November-March you need Tunis, Grande Canaria, or maybe Zanzibar.
Put one of these off season and love Poland.
I'll be watching on your six weeks there and excited to see your thoughts.
I've heard all good things.
Very nice video guys, as always
Welcome to Poland
That’s awesome, I haven’t been yet but I hear it’s incredible, has the best food in Europe and so underrated!
we are very excited to explore!
Welcome to Poland!!! My boyfriend and I were just watching your videos from Thailand and Vietnam the other day and now you are in our home country? What are the odds! As you guys certainly know your coffee, you simply must come to Warsaw. Kraków might be pretty but it's Warsaw that has the best speciality coffee scene in the country. I'll be happy to send you recommendations or even take you on a coffee tour around town. Enjoy Poland
oh wow--what a small world! Not sure if we will make it to Warsaw this trip but hopefully some day!
It's great to see you guys travelling around the world, experiencing other cultures and people. Looking forward for the home coming in Mexico after, who knows maybe a few months or a few years, but I'm pretty sure you will be back to Mexico. Saludos gringos.
You guys are crazy to leave the beautiful weather in Mexico to freeze in Poland this time of year
actually its been so nice so far! We are so lucky! Around 18 degrees (65 Fahrenheit) most days!
We've been traveling for the past two years, with the last 3 months through Europe. While we have loved our European travels, I definitely agree with the slow travel thing. We think one month minimum per country and no less than 5 days per stop (5 is still pretty fast!). What do you guys think?
I toured the entirety of poland in a month travel in 2018 as my cousin was doing erasmus in Poznan, and Krakow is one of my absolute favourite cities in Poland. I also like Wroclaw/Breslau and Gdansk/Danzig a lot
ohhh we are so excited to be here! Can't wait to explore around the country some more!
Winter 2022 in Europe should be awesome! You should go to Germany and Sweden for Xmas and New Years! The Mexican coffee will taste even better!☕😋
I'm jet lagged from watching you guys go from Vietnam back to Mexico for boxing lessons and back to Europe, this time in Poland for pretzels. Wherever you go the city is alive and people everywhere enjoying life.
Just keep traveling the globe you guys...
Happy trails!
Good luck in Poland , my nephew has a flat in Bulgaria, A number of those countries would be fun to see.
Goyo y Hilaria, we miss you overhere at Temple TX.
Yay! This is amazing. I’m so excited for you guys. I was afraid you would get back into your comfort routine in a Mexico but your are soon back to your adventures. I agree with you about quality vs quantity. Staying longer in one place makes you truly experience it and get a real feel of it. Going from place to places is terribly exhausting and stressful. I also think it’s cheaper to stay longer in one place. Monthly rentals can save you tons of money. Have fun Greg and Hillary ☺️
yikes not sure if moving to that part of the world in this tense time is a good idea, but hope it all works out!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤ you have to see the castles!!
If you’re hitting Croatia, consider a stop at Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Small town but beautiful and food is good. Will feel very different from Croatia and other European towns as well. I think you guys should also take advantage of the trains. Honestly if I were in your position, since it’s slow travel, it makes more sense to travel central and eastern Europe rather than go from Poland to Croatia and then pivot to France. But all the best to you guys.
Wow!!
Great video as always. Europe to me is so magical with the older architec (sp) and I love the churches. Was in Mucnich Germany, Salzburg Austria and Venice Italy in 2019 and I'm dying to go back. Just a little advice, maybe learn to say thank you, please etc in the country that you will be in. I'm sure they would appreciate that

"Planty - a type of urban green areas usually established on the site of liquidated city fortifications or the former river bed. Planty Krakowskie, established in the first half of the nineteenth century, are a well-known example in Poland"
"Planty is one of the largest city parks in Kraków, Poland. It encircles the Stare Miasto (Old Town), where the Medieval city walls used to stand until the early 19th century. " wikipedia
Wow. I am really envious. I mentioned to you before about Croatia. It is very close to you right now. The city of Split croatia would be a great spot for a short visit( a week or two. BEAUTIFUL city, mediterranean climate, tons of history and the KRKA River and Plitice lakes national parks. If it weren't so far away I would have chosen it over Mexico. But, don't get me wrong, I am living my best life in Mexico and is the home of my heart. I hooe to see you back in my beloved Vallarta one day🤗
What do you guys do for a living??
woah Poland, nice.
All the best for you guys!!! Come back to Mexico anytime, you'll always be welcome!! 😄
Congrats Greg and Hilary for living out your bucket list!! Yeah…for the underdog Poland! Looks like so far its going to be an Epic trip👍
we are so very exited to share!
good decision. I'm a Pole who lives in Washington, I'm going to Puerto Vallarta for Christmas for the fifth time
Luckily for Hilary, ski season is right around the corner!
lucky or unlucky?!
The more time you spend in Europe, the more you will want to put the US and Mexico in the rear view mirror. We retired here. No regrets. Since you are young (and love coffee) give Portugal a serious look.
You guys are getting very confusing. First your love was Vallarta, now it's Poland? Can't catch up to you guys!
Anyway.... enjoy your youth! And stay safe. :)
How ironic that you guys are in Poland. Due to RUclips I have been following a couple Polish creators and have quite enjoyed the content. See you soon in your upcoming videos
oh wow--what a small world!
But you didn’t say why you didn’t go back to Mexico for awhile. What happened?
Poland is an excellent choice!
Great job! Possibly Poland is a little under the radar to the western world? Enjoy!
thanks! Yeah we think it seems pretty overlooked to us westerners :) haha!
I mean literally any plaza in Europe is as lively. It's a very European thing to do to hang out at the main city square. That's true for most german cities, Gran Place in Brussels, Plaza de España in Madrid, and so many other plazas in Italy and France...
We haven't been to any of those places yet! Hopefully one day! It didn't seem to be the case for us in Switzerland which was our first Europe experience. Much, much more lively here!
@@kinetickennons Yeah Switzerland doesn't have many central plazas. Most of Swiss cities are small.
I took an Asian literature class in college. It gave me a great introduction and appreciation for the many, many cultures of the area. One could spend years and years.
Now Eastern Europe. Great cultures. Great food. Our grandmother baked a lot with poppy seeds. Kielbasa sausage. Sauerkraut. Dumplings.
And yes. At some point explore the history. The role Poland played in WW2. Winds of War. War and Rembrance. Fiction. With a lot of facts added.
Thank you for sharing the current delights.
oh wow--so much for us to try and learn!
NICE VIDEO
Aww I love the woman at the bagel-pretzel stand! 😄
oh my goodness isn't she adorable?! So kind and I loved how she kept giggling at us! haha!
Qué rico todo!
Helloooo you video i rellay enjoy. Take care over there. Blessings
thank you Rafael!
Hi There, Saludos from Dallas Texas.. Are U Guys Planning On Taking Lessons\Classes To Lear The Language !? I Know U Guys Learned Some Spanish But Feel Like That Was Part Of The Missing Piece To Understand The Culture and Interact More With People.. Just My two cents.. 😁 Good Luck and Blessings To Both Of You!! Mis Amigos Los Gringos!! 😊
I hope you two have purchased warm clothes. You’re going to need them very soon.
👍immersion in a culture es bueno 😊
The fun place looked a lot like Montreal Can.
oh really?! We haven't been but hopefully one day!
Very cool! Krakow is awesome. But You guys gotta get your climate calendar down. Poland in August! No more frostbite please. 🎃
haha--we have actually been very lucky so far!! Its been around 18 degrees (65 Fahrenheit or so)
3:17 planty is this specific park
Ya all bummed me out on your treatment of samui island. I left a comment on that video saying as much... that said, yes you should spend more time in the places you go. i love your peurta villarta videos because you lived there for years and walked the town, found friends, and lived there. that is the style of your content and the Charm of your content. it is what makes your channel endearing and fun. its what you are good at! Now show me poland, your poland, the people, the histry, the beauty. show me the street corner churro/perogie guy who learned from his mother how to cook. show me the cat in the local grocerie, show me the sunset from the park. do your thing kennons! and someday go back to Samui and do that place right. you really crapped all over one of the most beautiful and nicest places in the world...
Now I heard a couple of times that Poland is like the Mexico of Europe, but what do I know jaja. Greetings
Is that pesos?
Vilnius, Lithuania is another place to consider. Try the Bison Vodka and eat at a Milk Bar.
thank you for the recommendation!
Weekend trip to Berlin
Love how Greg puts lots of effort in your outfit in the morning, 😆 chanclas n calcetines and shorts
hahahah---its a whole vibe huh?!
@@kinetickennons you can take a boy out of Vallarta but you can't take Vallarta from the boy 😄✌🏽🌴
these two will be happy only on the moon
I was driving to Poland from western Germany to see the famous concentration camp, and we get 17 miles from the border when we had to turn around because someone got a DUI in the squadron and everyone was getting punished for it. Worst trip of my life. Almost 20 hours straight of non stop driving.
where ever you are haha Enjoy, but do not forget Mexico haha!!
I don't really know how things are over there, I have a couple friends over there and they say things are not very good over there, beside other RUclipsrs I follow are very worried about political stuff over there. Anyway, since you are staying only for a couple months, should be ok, be careful.
thanks for the heads up!
I thought that it was going to be Switzerland or France. I guess those would have been my choices. I wonder if uberzonic means everything bagel. You have to try shnitzel
They already went to Switzerland.
ohhh yeah! We visited Switzerland back in April! Haven't been to France yet but hopefully some day!
@@Alejojojo6 I was judging by the intro.
@@kinetickennons Should go visit Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal too!
