    Not mentioned, I believe Alaska Yellow Cedar is a cypress.
    I have quite a bit of it dating back 20 years. I like it..
    similar to Port Orford Cedar/Cypress.
    Interesting instrument. !

      Yes, it and POC is a cypress. As are much of our west coast “cedars”

      The only true cedars are in the Mediterranean and Himalayan regions.
      Classic example of mis naming would be the Western Red Cedar which is another member of the cypress family.
      Redwood and sequoia are cypress.
