Some great present ideas here. Please do some research around the water beads though, lots of parents who warn against them. Sadly children have died from swallowing them as they expand inside. I saw a video from an A&E doctor who said they’d never buy them for their child which says a lot!
So many people feel that way! Parenting is the best but it’s everything else that is so hard to manage! I find that it’s even harder when all they want is you but you’ve got a million things to do and if you don’t do them everything would fall apart. My son literally acts like he’s eaten pure sugar all day, I don’t understand how he doesn’t get tired of doing stuff all the time😂😂

Screw ball scramble my mother in law got that for her son (35!) our kids love it! I’m not keen on the tonnies i just feel they won’t read books but people rave about it x
My mum once said to me that a child is never to old for a book until they can read and she had a good point, now my little boy is 5, baby books with big short words are great for him to work on his reading 🙂
Can so relate to what you said about feeling over stimulated just watching you toddler being wild 😂. My wee girl is wired to the moon and never shuts off, she talk talk talks all day and gets the zoomies all over the house. Can feel my brain melting under pressure just watching her going at it 😂
My almost three year old loves to play with them we just make sure to supervise at all times so she can’t eat them and then wash hands immediately after xx

Those water beads are not safe for little ones. When they are wet they expand to the size that can get lodged into a little ones throat. Please look it up. I have seen videos of ppl saying how dangerous they are.

Please please avoid the waterbeads they are so dangerous. Even if just one is accidentally digested, they swell and can obstruct the airway. Not worth the risk❤❤❤
Now I want the horrible histories tonies for myself! I had a full on sack as a child too, I am imagining the pressure my mum must have had to completely fill it each year! I'm on the look out for a smaller sack for my toddler and baby to keep the tradition albeit on a smaller scale 😂

I think it's a very unhealthy attitude to project on kids, just because your son might "fit". Lots of research has disproven that gender plays a factor in interests if they aren't socialised that way! Ps don't mind you saying your son fits the stereotype, but it was the generalisation.

Please be wary of the water beads, can be very very dangerous if children ingest them! Seen some very scary cases on tiktok

You can get bigger water beads which are great, just always make sure children are supervised. We have the big ones at work and the kids love them xx
