I will definitely try these tips! I also love finding great stories read aloud for kids on youtube. They're free and an excellent brain break activity. Always Sunny Read Alouds For Kids is my go to.

These are great tips! We live in a small space (600sqft for the 6 of us 🙃) but have been able to do a number of things to help implement Montessori practices! Just have to get creative & remember that the function is what’s most important (obviously still being aesthetically pleasing to you & your child), not it looking like everyone else’s setup. 🤗

Ah that's great, well done you. 🙏 Getting creative and having belief you can make it work is definitely what it's all about. Doing what works for you and that sounds like exactly what you are doing. Thanks for watching. Xc

Such great tips! It’s so easy to get sucked into always needing more but you’ve shown that it’s really not necessary xx

You’re so crafty! I don’t think I could make that wardrobe if my life depended on it! Good job.

Love the idea of using furniture in your existing rooms!

This is what I do. I use my tv unit too! Thank you for making montessori accessible to everyone. Honestly, when I see what other parents have done, I estimate they’ve spends £1000s on toys and Montessori furniture, which is just not gonna happen in our home, in most peoples homes.

Ah thank you! Yessss couldn't agree more. It takes away from the important things which is children's engagement, learning, happiness and connection with us. Who cares how the resources are displayed so long as they know where they are. TV units are so multitasking. Love it. Thanks for watching.

Our son has a tiny room, that has floor to ceiling cupboards on both sides (that can't be opened as his bed is partially blocking it!) and otherwise the room currently holds a (high, although it's a kids one) chest of drawers. it's a teeny tiny space and after watching your video for ideas, we could probably add a small basket or two of toys! Thank you for the idea! I have plans to get a big unit block set which will take up loads of space downstairs! Time to really refocus on priorities! :)
Where did you pick up your loose parts?/where do you like to source them from where they're not foraged? I love the little logs and agate slices, I think they're called? thanks!

Wow sounds like a tricky space but glad you got some ideas from my video. The loose parts come from places like grapat, tickit education and the wood blocks from eBay. X
