Just start celebrating Thanksgiving earlier. The holidays go by too fast. There isn't enough time to enjoy the season. Now they're beginning to clear out Christmas things before Christmas day even arrives! Now THAT ticks me off!
Today I spent $108.00 for 1 bag of groceries. I couldnt believe my eyes, I thought there had to be a mistake. Then I see the prices of food here in this video and my blood pressure is rising. If we don't get free of this democrat tyrrany, we'll never survive.
I've gone back to making more things myself. A bag of flour will go a lot further dollar-wise than even buying pasta! And... it tastes much better and is relaxing and nostalgic to do.
I dunno. It just seems like sometime after WW2 Campbell's tried really hard to make moms cook every meal with can of cream of mushroom soup. And thus green bean casserole was born.
@@DoltonTVparty The optimist in me thinks it was because cream of mushroom can be used in a variety of dishes and those usually feed quite a few people. The pessimist in me says they just pushed it because it probably wasn’t a popular soup with kids so they tried cramming it in everything to get it to sell.
Ha ha. I made mine today! It was delicious - alongside my homemade squash, dried fruit, and apple bake, and my Mom's age-old cornbread dressing recipe! Yum!
