India saw its greatest winning in 2007 T20 WC and 2011 WC.Still many dont accept the legacy of Dhoni. Kohli is breaking every possible cricketing record and is becoming the G.O.A.T. Many cant accept his legacy due to same nostalgia. India lost every ICC tournament possible in 90s.Still those same nostalgia fans criticise todays team when they lose in Finals or Semi finals. Cummins has reached 911 rating point while career best of Mcgrath is also 911. There are 11 players in 2010s in top 30 bowlers according to rated points. Still many claim todays bowlers are not upto mark.Every multiple of 50 wickets is Todays bowlers. Every multiple of 1000 runs is todays batsman. @@alen539 India's performance has certainly improved leaps and bounds. But, he wasn't talking about simply Indian players performance but the excitement of people when the season of cricket matches used to arrive 🤦♂️🤦♂️ Moreover, not all your so called' facts can be termed facts. Yes, India won World Cup in 2011 after 28 years in 1983 and most importantly under VK we're also witnessing winning away test series. But, back then almost every team used to be competitive even Zimbabwe, but except Bangladesh, as compared to just the SENA countries nowadays. The Ponting era was kind of invincible those days as compared to the current Tim Paine era. West Indies used to be far competitive those days, not like in 70s and 80s, but with players like Ambrose, Walsh,Lara, Hooper, Sarwan, etc they certainly were far better than their today's team. Pakistan used to be a batsmen's nightmare back then, and now we all know what has become their level. Same goes with Sri Lanka, back then with Jayasuriya, Atapattu, Sanghakara, Ranatunga, Muralitharan, etc compared with now. Just like now we have Anderson, Archer, Bumrah, Rashid, back then we witnessed Akram, Waqar, Saqlain, Brett Lee, Akhtar, Damien Fleming, Alan Donald, Shane Warne, Shane Bond, etc. But yes, Indians surely lacked quality fast bowling back then, as compared to now. As far as batting averages are concerned, except test matches in SENA countries nowadays, cricket in other formats has become more batting friendly as compared to back then. So yes, my empathy would definitely go to today's bowlers in that perspective. Lastly and most importantly, not every past events becomes nostalgia my friend. There's certainly a reason for something becoming nostalgic and others not. Otherwise for example, even the Greg Chapell era in Indian cricket happened long ago in past, but has it became a nostalgic for anyone of us, unlike the 90s and early 2000s! Quality is also an additional factor for making some past events nostalgic. And here by quality, I ain't referring to simply Indian cricket performance!

Portray a man wearing a traditional native outfit as a noisy simpleton, while another “Desi” man sits looking like a complete colonial product shouts at the man and then his antipathetic reaction to his presence.
