- Dango's T series is something special. Taking everything great about their D series and putting a tactical spin on it. The T02 has a titanium frame and plate that makes up and extremely tough body. This 3 pocket variant is made from top-grain leather and held together by stainless steel mil-spec screws. From the Dango website:
The T02 Titanium Tactical Wallet was designed for the outdoor enthusiast who loves to keep things clean and needs to have tools easily accessible. The chassis of the T02 Wallet is composed of 100% raw titanium, which is stronger than high-strength steel yet only 60% heavier than aluminum, giving it the optimum weight-to-strength ratio. Comes with the 14-function Dango MT02 multi-tool which slides into the cavity where the cards sit. When engaged, the multi-tool can nest securely into the safety locks built into the wallet chassis- allowing for easy sawing, cutting and protection. Common tools are built in: hexes, paracord cutter, nail pryer, a serrated/sharpened edge and even a phone stand. We thought of everything and think you will be pleased with all of the functions built into a compact package.

I just ordered one, thank you for your time and review...
Excellent, thank you again. Always great to watch your videos on pass and current items. Happy NeW yEaRs.
Nice wallet one of the best I have seen
Excellent review as always. 👍 Happy New Year! 🎉🎊
Thanks brutha! You too!
Chrispy Things 👍
I am a Dango "fanboy" for sure. Love their products. I would LOVE to see a T02 that has been anodized^^
OMG , T02 TITANIUM TAC 3 really is a beautiful wallet....
TQ, Can't get my mind off the T02.....GREAT reviews....
Been looking at this one for a while. Nice Spyderco shirt, btw!
What do you carry?
@@ChrispyThings for wallets I use a ridge but I’m thinking of picking up this dango or a trayvax contour. As far as knives go I have a huge collection and rotation (which is one reason I have a knife/edc channel). Nonetheless, the AD-20, fluted titanium military, and M4 Bailout have been dominating pocket time recently. What do you normally carry?
I bought the AL version of this. I wish I would have gotten the Ti version. I like the heft of the Ti.
ordered this T02 TITANIUM TACTICAL PEN WALLET - SPECIAL EDITION for $279.00 and was so excited that it came today so tried putting credit cards in the inside/middle pocket where the blade/multi-tool is in and sad to say, it ony fit 2 credit cards plus the blade only so with the multi-tool out the pocket only fits 3 credit cards to make it flush. If you put 3 credit cards plus the blade then the plate is not flush anymore. Additionally if you leave the blade in, you can push the credit cards out as your thump will be pressing against the somewhat sharp edge of the blade. Also the plate comes off each time you push the cards off too so we are returning everything. Other than that cool looking though.
Good review I’m highly considering this model wallet. But I do also wanna add that you won’t necessarily have to leave your multi tool at home when your going to the airport you could just throw it into the luggage that’s going to be going under the plane not your carry on luggage.
I just found your channel and I think you are doing a great job. I was wondering if you had ever checked out any of the Recycled Firefighter wallets. I have all of the different versions and really like them. He makes most of them from recycled fire base but also uses a few other materials that I believe you would find interesting.
It’s funny you asked that because I’ve been checking them out lately after seeing them all over social media. I might grab one in the near future.
Don’t know why they didn’t making a magnet or something to close the wallet
Thanks for the review CT. You've convinced me to buy one today. Looks sexy. By far the most expensive wallet I have ever bought and will be the last 🙄
You can anodize it yourself. I gave my wallet a flame anodize and it looks awesome. I found the video how to anodize titanium on RUclips
In your review of Dango wallets have notices any QC issues?...i noticed this have been a complaint in some reviews
Never any issues with Dango.
The blank cards you use are perfectly flat. How easy do regular credit cards go in when they have raised detail on them be interested to see if you still get then in and out easy???
The exact same as any wallet.
Can you put any cards under the plate if the multi-tool is in there? I’ve never seen any review answer that question.
Yes you can. I believe they say in the site you can put 2 there with the tool. I just personally wouldn’t do it.
Chrispy Things why not? Just curious because I got the M1 Rail wallet so the multi-tool is something I’m considering. Is it just the possibility of it damaging the cards?
Travis Holman Yes the possibilities if damaging cards. Taking them in and out and always rubbing against all of the corners and cut outs of the multi tool. I’d use flat cards if I absolutely needed to, not raised cards.
Chrispy Things thanks for the quick replies.
I have a M-1 Maverick bifold, considering the Titanium. In your opinion which Titanium would you go with the M-1 titanium or T02. My thanks.
Both are great but if I had to choose I prefer the M series over the horizontal T series.
@@ChrispyThings My thought as well. Thank you for the response!!! Great reviews.
👍🏼
Hey man, what is the titanium made of?
Grade 5 titanium
can we get a sample for free "Testing"?
Do you prefer this or the maverick?
If I had to choose, I prefer the M series over the horizontal style wallets such as the D series or T series.
Thanks. That’s the way i was leaning. I would go for a contour, but i like a separate spot for id and registration, etc.
What's the special purpose of the titanium portion if the leather already has 3 pockets with 4 cards each? Seems silly to me.
More card storage. Seems pretty normal
If you buy the package with the lanyard it's a hardcore self defense weapon.
For starters, with the window breaker, you could put someone out of their misery with that edge, right behind the ear. I think medicine has caught up with being able to treat injuries but in a worse case scenario......
So if you get it with the lanyard and the belt clip, and the capsule, and you combine them, there you have a serious hand to hand combat weapon. You just unlock the lanyard, pull it out of your pocket, and you have what we call soap in a sock.
Absolutely do not use this as a brass knuckles,/ knife??? I guarantee you I would take one look at you and go right through you. Definitely don't do that.
You might lose your credit cards and money, possibly break the silicone strap. At that point though who cares?
It'll def even the odds on hand to hand stuff
Is this wallet TSA approved for air travel?
That info is in the video.
But short answer is yes, without the multitool.
@@ChrispyThings I saw in the vid. Thanks for replying..
Im all about that titanium but 200 bucks, wow
It’s a pricey one for sure.
The T01 is 6061 aluminum and is the exact same style. And less expensive.
Personally I like my Flipside4
dont really like that leather flap to be honest
While cool I dont understand how a wallet like this would be comfortable in your pocket. Ok its titanium but aluminum would be nearly as light and substantially cheaper. That aside it's still a flat piece of metal with absolutely no give. A leather wallet contours to your pocket somewhat and wont jab you in your side like all these gimmicky metal framed ones that have become popular as of late. On top of being uncomfortable, if you carry this type of wallet in the same pocket for any length of time you will wear a hole at the corners where the metal frame contacts the material in your pants. Call me old fashioned but I just dont the attraction.
It’s very comfortable actually. Oh, and no holes in my pockets yet. Due to the fact there are no sharp corners. Unless you’re carrying the multi tool.
@@ChrispyThings Time will tell...thx for the review.
Sponsored?
No I’m not sponsored by Dango. Companies do send me wallets to review all the time however.
Dollar bills go in single folded not double.
They go in however somebody feels like putting them in
Trayvex Contour wrecks this
why meow
Ray Tan what bark?
It always takes a month for shipping with dango products. 100% sure it comes from China
Definitely does not come from China. What makes you think that?
Chrispy Things why else would it take a month to ship things?
Learn 2 Lizard Covid
its funny.........lets build a minimalist wallet that holds 16 cards!!!! but when its fully loaded its thicker than any other wallet. SHHHHH they will never know it!!!
bryman31 Thus isn’t exactly a minimalist wallet. It’s a tactical wallet made from titanium and has a multi tool.
Way too thick
j dash Do you carry a lot of cards?
Chrispy Things right now about 10 in a tray ax contour and I could even cut that down to about 5-7
j dash 5-7 cards. Not thick at all. It’s very thick when I had it fully loaded though yes.
