Love your tea cup and appreciate your detailed instructions! Having difficulty watching the tutorial because of your beautiful hands and nails! Nice to see no claws or daggers!
I have watched this video over and over again wanting to make a pin cushion in a tea cup----I want to use one of my precious tea cups I received from my grandmother many years when she was alive. Then I inherited some more. They mean so much to me!! She had her own dry cleaning company way back in the forties and she did a lot of alterations and sewing for others. I am the only one of my five sisters that sews and it was something we had in common. How special I felt!! Thank you so much for being so clear in your instructions of making this as I did not want to bumble the process. I love your videos as many others do. God bless you and your family!!
I have found that upholstery thread is a lifesaver for alot of craft projects, including flowers, etc....It is very strong and never breaks! Thank you for the great tutorial love your ideas !!!!
I love this tea cup pin cushion. I have a tea cup my mother gave me one year for a holiday. Just one tea cup. I am going to make it into a pin cushion. I will pass it on to my daughter, she also is learning how to sew by me. My mother sewed , but not as much as I do, she sewed a little bit. Thank you for showing everyone how to do a pin cushion out of a tea cup
I've seen the teacup pincushion idea before but never as cute as this one. I'm going to start one this evening. Thank you and you have a new subscriber.
Very cute. I was at a sewing expo a few yrs ago and I saw a pin cussion made to look like a cup cake. It was in a glass cupcake liner padding was ice cream 2 scoops different colors /different flavors. With a glass bead on top for the cherry. Made the same way.
Hi Hon, I am new to your channel, and I think that this is a really cute lil pattern. My Mom when she was alive was a real crafter and she used to make pin cushions and chairs etc out of tuna cans and cans, you had to be careful with the lids but she used them too. She made all kinds of things, I didn't appreciate them then but I sure do now, I still have one of her pin cushions and chairs that she made they are really cute but are in need of repair. The material after all these years of use is starting to frey. Great idea and great video, I am sure I will be watching a lot more of your video's. Have a great day Hon and enjoy life. The old lady from BC, Canada hahahaha
A small square freezer box /lunch box makes a great travel sewing kit. As long as it is big enough to hold a pair of tiny scissors & bobbins of thread.
Thank you thank you thank you my dad gave me some of my mom's old cups about a year ago. My mom died on good Friday and I have been wanting to make my sisters who sew a pincushion but was not doing well at making them you have made this easier thanks.

Could you use dental floss instead of thread?
Love, love, love it!
Hi did u say e3000 glue for the tea cup?
Jennifer Waller e6000
could you use spray adhesive with the batting? Plus using sand or powdered walnut shells to the stuffing will keep your pins super sharp!
Quilt in a day
Thanks alot for the idea of using sand to keep pins sharp.. I have been wondering what of use instead of walnut dust!!
It’s very cute!
Cute and simple, thank you
Now next time I go to goodwill I will be looking for a special teacup and saucer as well as some doilies.

Adorable
What color/brand is your nail polish? It's a nice bright orangey-red, which is what I favor! The teacup is so cute!
It would be cute if you could figure out a way to make a hole in the center for a pair of embroidery scissors!
SmittenKitten- Great idea about the scissors!
I think it is beautfull well done jan from the u k x
Love it
Very cute
I would love to make a tea cup pincushion for a friend. But I would be afraid it would break because I need to mail it to her. I love your ideas! Thank you!
I didn't see what the cup was filled with so the cushion won't fall in?
Hello Mitchell, she glued about an inch down the cup,and let it dry,so that will stop the cushion from sinking.
Love it. Hae to make some.
FYI. Did you know a hair dryer will get rid of the glue webs ?
Lol at “my three year old happened”. Girl, I feel ya. I have 3 girls- ages almost 10, almost 7, and almost 2. Stuff is being dropped constantly.
dental floss is ultra strong for things like this..loved the video!!!
Great idea!
Thanks! sew very cute.
Earlier I watched a video of making a tea cup quilted out of cloth that might be cool made into a pin cushion
Shave you ever tried to combine detal floss and raw tread together to give you a strength you need.
Belíssima, eu amei.
You can use human hair(from children's haircut) the natural oils are supposedly good for needles/pins love your channel by the way!!!
