I used to have Zorki 4 and it's a beautiful, solid camera, but wearing glasses I found it very very difficult to use the tiny viewfinder. But it is a beautiful machine, especially paired with Jupiter 8
I owned this camera from 2016-2020, i hated owning it. It was very clumsy and complicated to own. Once i re-engaged the shutter, i sold it. I bought a canon L-1 and loved every second. The Zorkie is not really for everyone, i just wish we had more new affordable rangefinder cameras in 2024
Bought a 4K recently and shot 1 roll with it. It was all great until the shutter completely broke. One of the ribbons holding the curtain snapped. Repair is complex and expensive, so now I have an interesting old piece of metal at home. At least I get to keep the lens..
I understand the film is expensive wanting to minimize cost, but because film is expensive I want to make ruse my camera and glass are solid. I don't want to waste film on bad optics and a camera that may cause me to waste a frame.

Range finder and affordable do not go hand in hand. Find an old Olympus RC in working order.

When you press the shutter, a lady always laughs, apparently
that's mother russia
Zorki 4 is a GOAT

Great camera but not for the faint hearted , I've snapped 2 out of 5 rolls I put through it because of that damn manual shot counter
Honestly if you fuck up when operating this camera you’re literally doing one job wrong. Zorki-4 goat
