Yeah I did too... Which to be fair is just as accurate, because outside of Jutland the naval War of WWI is pretty boring if Dreadnoughts are all you are interested in. Not much action outside of patrols for the Allies and sitting in port for the Central Powers.
@@doktorhund6926 Correct, there was 1 major naval battle where those heavy Warships took part and that was the battle of Jutland, and if memory serves... sweet FA happened. lol
@@doktorhund6926 The only action that she saw was the ramming and sinking of a U-Boat. Interestingly, this is the only time a battleship sank a submarine, and will almost certainly remain as such in perpetuity.
As much as i Love Bismarck, Theres something about this song that I Feel is Better. Bismarck is Heavy While this Feels Not as Aggressive. Kinda like the Ships, Bismarck Was a Beast With big Guns which Matches with the song. Dreadnought Is not As Aggressive like the ship, But still has An Impact. Might have been the hook At the Intro
They want to achieve the kind of scary thriller vibe. Just like what the solidiers who was fighting them Dreadnoaughts felt. Imagine seeing a battleship for the first time in history.
While I like Bismarck both song and real I honestly like prefer this song for the same reasons. I feel Bismarck got it’s reputation for the wrong reasons. Yeah it sunk Hms Hood but it got horribly mauled as a result and in part due to its flawed but absolutely beautiful design. However Dreadnought being about the great Dreadnoughts of WW1 I feel the Dreadnoughts especially the German ones and their battlecruisers more then earned their reputation during Jutland. Taking an absolute hammering with all but one (rip Lutzow) making it back to port. Of course the English dreadnoughts and crews of their battlecruisers showing equal bravery.
I think it sounds a lot more like Bismarck than Wolfpack. There are some similarities, but Bismarck and Dreadnought are both roughly 95 BPM too. While Wolfpack is 79 BPM.

When I first heard the song I thought the last line of the chorus said "And the Dreadnaughts DID nothing at all!" lol
Me too, theb i checked the lyrics and went hhh

This song, especially with the history edition narration at the beginning, sounds really ominous
yeah this riff is way better imo, bismarck was also more up beat then this one, and no pun intended its sounds like dread
