Too bad you hit a rough patch, I hope you will get to better times. Scraping paint is quite a change from sailing. I hope you managed to find out what paint system you had to buy into. If money is stressing you out, than Patreon could be helpfull, I'd support you! I hope you will be able to build and enjoy some constructive relationships with the people around you in the ship yard.
I don't know why we never responded to this... but thanks for letting us know.. maybe we will try patreon but not sure yet. We will ask our viewers for advice in a video soon :)
:D At last, 15 hours after you uploaded it, RUclips showed it in my subscribers department. Glad you're on the video road again! By the way, nice footage/music sequence with the haul out. Loved it! Heppie greetingz, Wim
Great to see that you loved the country and the people ! Really funny when you spoke about people coming and see a woman (special foreign woman) doing hard work which is usually done by men. But we suppose that you saw some Tunisian women working as a fisherman or may be some other hard work in the ship yard (it's quite common) ! Women are strong in Tunisia and usually they are doing hard jobs for a whole family. However, men are a little bit lazy hhh Keep the good videos coming and good luck !
Haha you think it was mainly because I'm foreign? We did not see women working in the shipyard or on fishing boats. But people told us that on kerkennah women use to work on the fishing boats as well. But we never saw that. But yes, when we met female harbourmasters for example, their harbours and offices were much better managed then most of their male colleagues (few exceptions of course) 😁 Thanks!!
@@sailingmessenger8125 Indeed you can see many Women in "deep Tunisia" working in agriculture (mainly). The problem is that they suffer from a lot of problems related to the society that they are living in. But at the same time they persist and continue sustaining their families ! As a hikers we meet a lot of them in mountains and each time it's a new lesson we learn from their courage and bravery !
@@RandoTunisie yes that's true! I think around sidi mechreg we saw many women working in the fields. Good to hear that you are taking it up for the women of your country!
