Troy’s smile made my day. This is what it’s all about. His dad is a certified badass
100%!
Dude somebody needs to hire this guy and pay him some serious cash. To do all that in 6 months on that budget in his spare time is really impressive.
I was shocked when I heard how quickly he did this build! 😳
Spoiler alert
JK
I’m impressed 👍🏻👍🏻
That smile on his son's face says it all!
Heck ya the smile on Troy’s face!
Being a father and a grandfather , I just love seeing the smile on the young man's face ! That is what is all about ! Bringing the children into the hot rodding hobby !
And teach them to love AMERICA!!!
@@GUERRO06 amen !
Respect.
I'd rather see this dude and hear his story and his truck more than all the $100k+ builds combined.
At first I cringed when he said MonsterFlow but as soon as he explained the why I was 100% on board with all of it.
More content like this please
But Flowmasters cost so little, why cut corners there?
@@TheBroLounge are Flowmaster mufflers 3 times better?
That part 🤜🏽
A afternoon with dad that will never be forgotten. 👍👍
This is the ultimate “built not bought “. This guy is an inspiration to me. Baby steps, tho. Maybe I’ll change my OWN oil this time.
The look on the kid's face says it all.. 😊😁 Awesome build, and mad respect for tackling it himself..
Home cooking at its best!
Thx for the great content.
More plz.
Love the swamper in the middle with that smile, reminds me of myself when I was his age riding with my brother. The memories man.
The smile on his son's face is PRICELESS!! This is what we call "quality" Father time w/their kids. o7
The young fellas smile 😊, says it all !
Great memories are going to be the result of this awesome build.
Of Coors
Awesome Truck, but that kid smilin' made this video GREAT! Top Work!
Thats a sik ass truck! I used too have a 63 c10! Long bed! Big window Only one of my vehicles i regret selling! Man! I miss my truck!!Props to the owner! Sweet build!👌✌
That’s an awesome home built C10!! His son had a blast, that was the coolest part!!
Amen 🙏
Love the beat up look of this truck and the look on Troy’s face is priceless. 😁👍
Watching Troy smile from ear to ear was worth the price of admission. It doesn't hurt that his dad's truck is bada$$! Love seeing the home built muscle. 💪💪💪
I couldn't get past watching his sons huge grin every time dad smashed the gas, priceless!
Yes!! Fellow electrician here , glad to see the pride you have in your work !
Love how dude mutted this truck together, mix and match till it's exactly how he likes it. 👌👍
The grin on that kids face is priceless! Well played!
His car, his work, his man power...props...
His son smiling is the best part!! His is loving it!
Best episode ever thanks cause this is what I do home working
Agreed 👍
That boys face is how you end a show man, hell yeah
I have such an affinity for patina cars. Unassuming yet has some of the coolest & most chill owners. And bringing in the next generation of kids into the classic car world is always a bonus! 😀👍 Also, that bed work is immaculate.
What’s better than having fun with your dad and the trunk awesome video Shawn
The look on Troy's face is priceless ... nothing like experiencing life through the eyes of a child .
His son had a smirk on his fast the whole time he was in there. It was priceless! Great job!
The RESPECT i Have for 'Garage-Builds'! well DONE!!!
I'm loving the constant grin on his son's face during the entire ride!! That's priceless!!
Damn near shed a man tear watching Troy smile and experience pure joy with his pops. Not even an emotional dude but that was wholesome.
The smile on little Troy's face all worth the effort, awesome build👍
You gotta love the pure joy on that kids face when his dad does the burn out! My dad never did that in his 1963 ford Galaxy 😭
He's a Amazing man. Great builder and father!!
Awesome dad. Seeing the smile on his sons face was the highlight and that’s what the hobby of building cars is all about.
Troy is living the life! The truck was great but Troy stole the show!
Great job and NASTY BURN OUT! Nothin' but CHEVY!
I love his son and the constant smile he had on his face. Great father/son bonding right there!!
He made the video! That smile says it all
Nothing but respect. Took care of the family and did the hobby on the side and on your own ?! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Nice truck. I love the fact this man did all the work himself and spent 15 thousand dollars. You did a great job.
Love that this dude did the budget build himself
Props up and down on this "budget" build. Super dope!
I know…creative make it happen guy for sure
Joe's labor of love invested in this puppy are priceless.
Hahaha! The kid loves it. What a great memory he'll have to look back on 30 years from now. Out with Dad rockin' the truck. That's a big part of hot-rodin'. "Pass me that 3/8ths kiddo"
Brother, that is such a bad ass, but simple built not over the top build if I've ever seen it. The owner so cool and down to earth. And to see his son in the truck enjoying it with him is something that will never be forgotten on this channel. Excellent interview and all else on top of it!
Love it! Plumber by trade here. I drive a 2017 Chevy Express, 6.0/6L90e. It’s nearly 10,000lbs but the big girl can get up and move. I’ve been impressed by it. I love the fact he did this swap.
What a cool episode! Love seeing Troy light up
This build/video made my day! That boys smile makes me miss my dad......
Kids face is priceless 🤣 he will keep old schools alive👍
By far one of the coolest builds and favorite video.
Nice 1962 Chevy C10 Shortbed with the big back window! Awesome truck 😊👍💯 Hard to find
He converted this from long to short. In the video we show some of the conversion happening
That is an awesome truck! And he built it all by himself!! Watching his boy smile the whole time just makes it even better!!
This is a super wholesome episode
Nothing more satisfying than building your own hot rod and getting to enjoy it with your son and family.
Its definitely true, 15k for the build, but much more than that in knowledge and enjoyment!
Hot roddin 101. Well done. The smile on Troy's face says it all.
Dude my favorite part of this video is seeing his kid smile when u guys went for a ride. My little boy loves our truck build too. Maybe one day itll be cool enough to show it off to u!!
Troy's smile made my day.
Kool rig doing textbook burnouts!
That my friends is a perfect example of money well spent. To be able to do a project car or truck with your own two hands and share it with your kids is priceless.
To see his sons smile priceless
Everything about this episode was just awesome! So cool to see a badass home build like this, and the father and son duo going down the road together!! Badass!!
That's the way to do it.. awesome build.. not bought!!! Big shout out from germany!
Yeah, this guy is so cool and just figured it out and built a great C10!

When i seen the beginning of the video i was hopefull he would have his son riding around with him ..priceless thats what its really all about..the trucks/car is the tool used to bring them together.
This truck and the family are the true essence of American Hotroding! Right on!!!
Agreed. Such a cool guy and his son is loving it
Props on the build! Rad truck and so great to share it with the family 🤘🏼
Pure respect. Awesome build!
Mad respect for this guy
Finally hear somebody in a feature saying they used electrical conduit for exhaust. Those conduit bends and pipe have worked wonders for me.
The kids smile is priceless
The kids reaction when his dad gases it says it all! Great build. Turned out awesome.
This is my kind of build and you can tell the little guy he was all smiles
That kids smile is priceless and it goes to show you dont need a lot of cash to have fun 😎
That's awesome. Killer ass truck and the young generation coming up
That’s a very cool garage build, love it.
Great job. Great truck. Very inspirational. Love the father son aspect. Troy's smile while riding with dad is just worth a million bucks. Reminds me of my child hood.
Nothing beats a low fat burnout, great to see a father and son loving the same thing, my kids sit in their room on their instagram and complain when my car vibrates the house
Ya know, ya just have to give it up to this guy and his efforts to build something that he has always wanted and He did it, on a budget, with OEM parts, donor parts and RUclips assistance! Seriously a Cool segment of a Guy and his determination to have his Dream become reality by his own hands. Kudos to him and to You for featuring it. The son’s smiles were never ending and priceless. I would venture to say that this life experience with his dad a garage building a custom C/10 will and has forever left an impression on his son, that will live on with him and ultimately be passed on to his child one day!
Great build. Love his sons chuckle after the burnt out. Priceless
His son is hooked for life
His son's smile makes it all worth it he was smiling ear to ear
Sick truck, it’s crazy how this body style has grown on me over the years. That bed modification definitely helps!!!
Hats off to you man. Beautiful truck. Wish I had it in my driveway
this dude is a BAD MOFO!!! ive seen 100k+++ trucks that are no cooler than this. they may have latest tech and crazy mod(which is awesome) but maybe just as cool. certainly not any cooler. 15k unreal. this dude is someone for these young kids to aspire to be. humble built it himself in a garage, and that truck drops jaws as much as a custom shop's build. rock on bro. wicked rig bro. shawn always brings the hottest builds. godspeed
His son is having the best time of his life. We are looking at a potential badass mechanic/fabricator in the future.
I'm a truck guy amd we have a 66 c10 my father in law left to us after passing away. Big block 454 in it.. hopefully it's running next year. Dude as Troy smile was getting bigger so was mine ❤. Can't wait until my boys and I get to do a fatty burn out in there grandpas truck soon.
He’ll yeah! Do it yourself and really appreciate it! Awesome job bro
Bad freakin ass. Holy sh!t I love that pickup.
Love the truck!. Gotta appreciate the guys that don’t write a check or have big money to spend on a toy. Nice Ride!
I love this type of build, more like this 👍
Awesome job with the build; keeping things simple and on budget is great!!!
Perfect amount of patina on this truck. Looks great, sounds great. All around awesome build
Just f'ing cool owner and his son. Love the done at home part and it came out awesome.😎👍
badass truck...even more badass seeing the young man smiling in the middle every time you mash the go pedal
Maaaan, I love these C-10s. That kid was all smiles, ear to ear.
He loves it and I love Joe’s approach on this one
