Comment about thumbs… I suffered with pain in both thumbs for several years and finally visited an orthopedic hand surgeon. I did have surgery on both thumbs- one at a time, 2 years apart. The surgery is called CMC arthrplasty. Very little pain - but I was in a cast for about 7-8 weeks for each thumb. Second one was about 7 years ago and I have no pain anymore.

Most of all…Thank you for sharing your ‘watery, inky’ ocean background!!! I do lots of ocean themed cards for my fellow scuba diving friends. Your techniques for these will be invaluable to me! Thank you so very much!!! Also I dislike the white edges left around dies, (why don’t they just make the stamps a bit bigger to get a full image?), but I see how you and Kelly Taylor disguise those edges by continuing the background colors on them. Smart Ladies!!! Thank you for sharing your techniques and wisdom!!!

The second one looks amazing. Love that subtle glow that you captured. When you said your Copic days are over I saw an OLO ad coming... Sorry to hear your health is getting in the way of your art. I've had to give up some forms of art because my hands shake now and it's a bitter pill to swallow.

Dawn your coloring is incredible! I also struggle with hand pain from an autoimmune disease and coloring hurts at times. A year ago I found Melaleuca’s Recover AI (supplement) and it changed my life. I don’t sell the product or anything like that, but it was a game changer for me.

Amazing coloring Dawn! My hand hurt watching you. I know you don’t do story time, but I hope that your husband is doing better and that they found out what caused his emergency.
The length does not matter to me; however, i do have gipics , but tend to go towards watercolor, I like the look of watercolor, & to me it’s easier to pick up watercolors more economically then copics, but I will eventually watch all of this video for the fabulous content I know you provide!🙂

Soooo. Your hands. Get copper gloves. Where them at night. I’m in my 40 s. And I craft a lot, drive, dishes, all the things. So my hands hurt too 😢. The copper gloves help! When I drive longer than an hour, I wear um. And once or twice after a lot of hand stuff, like coloring. Amazon has them for like 30.
