My hubs works weird hours and sleeps a lot when I am knitting, etc I am so happy for another episode. Some knitting pods are sleepy. I didn't see "The Last Emperor". As a former News Director, I did see "Broadcast News", and "Moonstruck".
You guys grew up in the 1980's. I grew up in the 2000's. Bearing through the reviews of old movies I'll never watch is like hearing the summary of a book I was assigned to read during the semester. An easy way to remember yarn weights is to say "Let Friends Say Dumb Words Always." Let = Lace Friends = Fingering Say = Sport Dumb = DK (Double Knit) Words = Worsted Always = Aran
I think Michael Cimino's Heavens Gate was another famous movie flop at the time. On The first Rocky movie, if you disregard all the boxing and training in the film, and focus on Sly and all the other cast members there are some very good profound performances. The small hometown people just getting by. It's about relationships and love caring and extremely gratifying that you really care about these townspeople. Robert Redford in The Natural is not a movie about baseball at all. 😮
