Loved ds2 I never played number one I started on 2 and played 3 and some demon souls been told the new remastered version of one is still a bit broken and that there was a lot cut out of the game that never got finished like the fire bits

@12:53 I always had the vague idea that the Legion at some point recovered Sif's soul, which we've seen can be done at least with Lords' souls, and divided it among themselves similar to how Gwyn shared fragments of his own with various supporters, somehow using that process to link their own souls.

So, I can't fall asleep to RUclips videos, but I've never found a better channel to calm sensory overstimulation or panic attacks so quickly. ASMR is also usually too overstimulating but this is a really good balance. Thanks for what you do!

This is an excellent idea. Dark Souls has some great ASMR hidden within it. Particularly the dialogue of Petrus of Thorolund, the Crestfallen Knight, and Ludleth from DS3.

Just a quick theory from the top of my head as I’m dozing off. Could the “wolf blood” pertain to a bloodline of sif? The covenant-giver wolf could be a descendant to sif and they’ve used the wolves since sif as a blood supply.
but eventually the last descendant would be produced due to whatever reason, hence the blood drying up. (everything in dark souls is stretched too thin) and as a last ditch effort to combat the age of dark, they linked the flame.
Then after coming back, they decided it would be a better idea to fight the dark head on, becoming corrupted and fighting themselves (from my understanding, many who link the flame obtain a higher understanding of the flame).
Might have some holes, just a thought.

I don't know really much of anything abt dark souls lore (bloodborne is different lmao) so I have absolutely no idea what most of these names mean but. Wow is your voice relaxing. I have an overly active mind at night and literally a minute in this is making me yawn (not in a boring way but comforting) ty for this :)

So quick theory concerning the emaciated Old Wolf and how they can have Sif's blood even though we killed Sif. Maybe it was Rosaria, maybe the reason some entities come back even though we kill them, is because after we link the flame Rosaria is collecting the important Souls we gathered some how and bringing them back. The Mother of Rebirth can come back aslong as we return her Soul, maybe she can do the same for others?
Maybe after we link the fire the Special souls are reborn in the Flame and are gathered like that...maybe

It’s a shame that rescuing Sif in the past didn’t make the fight optional. After all, she knows who you are, what you have accomplished and that you are worthy, leaving the ring for you after the additional DLC cutscene

Do undead come back in perfect condition or do they still have to recover?
Like if your character gets a penile fracture does it stay when they resurrect or not?
Cause if that’s the case I’d just roll off a cliff if I ever hurt myself bad enough, or eat a fire bomb.
If they come back well enough, does the estus flame heal them or is it some other way cause if the flame healed them, what type of flame would the lord flame be since it turns them to ashes- but they too come back.
Then we can go into humanity’s glands such as the profane flame and dark flame
Does the profane flame keep creatures around or warps them, and the humanity flame instead acts within humanity’s control- Manus for the profane flame and pyromancers for the dark flame.
What would the painting’s flame be in context of these, is it painted into the world as art reflects reality- and is thus why it’s so protected and hidden away, or is it something else?
