For all you salty dragonball super fans out there, I’m going to prove why shadow would win this battle
1) He defeated erazor jinn who was absorbing multiple universes in his base state with a less than half his life force (multi universal base sonic)
2) held his own against infinite who can casually spawn endless dimensions ( high universal base sonic )
3) went toe to toe with emerl who had the power of the chaos emeralds, the chaos emeralds can eradicate Entire space and time continuums
( Multi Solar system-universal + base sonic)
4) defeated the dark queen who could make a universal structure infinite ( universal Excalibur sonic)
5) Defeated the egg salamander who destroy multiple parallel realities (multi universal super sonic)
6) defeated the egg wizard who had the power of pots which holds the structure of the sonic verse ( multiversal + super sonic)
7) Defeated Alfa Layla who was going to destroy sonic’s reality once he entered it ( Multiversal + dark spine sonic)
8) Defeated Solaris who is a super dimensional being above the sonic verse which makes him 5D. ( low complex multiversal super sonic)
9) was utterly immune to all attacks from the Time eater and overpowered him despite the fact that he could eradicate the sonic verse ( multiversal + super sonic)

I don’t understand how people lowball shadow to planet level and say he gets defeated by Vegeta
It just simply doesn’t make sense at all
So I’m going to prove these fools wrong.
Debunking that base shadow is only multi continental level ( keep in mind he scales to sonic)
The chaos emeralds are leagues above planetary level. ONE chaos emerald could destroy the planet and classic sonic could defeat two people at this level, an egg mobile with the chaos emerald and silver sonic with a chaos emerald. So this means that classic sonic in base > planet level.
Base sonic also could seriously injure dark Gaia who is way above planetary level, so this means base sonic is planet level
He defeated perfect chaos who had all 7 chaos emeralds, perfect chaos has actually been stated that he could destroy the planet in a guide and we already know that one chaos emerald could destroy an entire planet. So Planet level + to Multi planet level
The chaos emeralds power the eclipse cannon which can pierce through stars, so this puts the chaos emeralds at star level
They are also are what made emerl seriously unstable and in pain, not the final egg blaster which one shots Solar systems and has been calculated at billions of times the speed of light.
We see sonic keep up with eggman who had the wisps, the wisps are stated above that of the emeralds and they kept up with Dreamcast era sonic (mother wisp) not only that they can create entire black holes which yes are black holes as while we do see light escaping it, we know that on certain horizons, light can escape from a black hole. Sonic would at least be star level for surviving a black hole and keeping up with opponents who had enough power to generate one.
He defeated a dragon who he compared to final hazard who had been able to keep up with the star level super sonic. As he is powered by the emeralds.
We see him beat the egg robo who has been calculated at dwarf star level.
He beat emerl in his ultimate state, people often say that emerl was weakened but this is not true, emerl was just in pain and he was unstable, NOT weakened. So sonic beat him in 30 seconds which puts him above the Multi solar system level emerl.
He is above erazor jinn who was absorbing universes and could create a infinite corridor, this is proven by him completely overpowering him when both absorbed the rings. Note that dark spine sonic absorbed less rings than Alf a Layla, so this confirms Base sonic > Erazor jinn
So sonic is high universal level.
He then takes on infinite who further backs up sonic far surpassing multi continental as we see him create hundreds to thousands and possibly even more Planetary level characters. We also know that sonic could beat eggman with the phantom ruby, the phantom ruby can spawn endless universes which destroy anything within it, considering how it’s endless, yeah sonic surviving null space later on in the game would give him universal durability and he straight up escapes the endless dimension, so this also backs up his infinite speed. Oh and before you say it’s an illusion, it’s not, if it was it would never have been stated to be able to destroy anything that enters or it would have never been referred to as an infinite dimension. Hell if it was definitely would not be a huge ass rift when sonic broke out.
And this is all just BASE sonic
Now let’s get into his super forms.
Excalibur sonic beat the dark queen who was slapping around the same base sonic who is above erazor jinn , so this would put him at High universal level.
Dark spine sonic could slap Alf a Layla who could warp the Arabian nights which has 1001 space times, so this is baseline multiversal.
Super sonic defeated egg salamander, egg wizard, time eater, Solaris and is powered by the chaos emeralds which are required for half of the amount to create space time continuums, they scale to the sol emeralds which could already tear apart the space time continuum. So this is universal + from the gecko.
The egg salamander is multiversal + on a lower scale from the egg wizard who has POTS, the same thing which is straight up responsible for the Sonic verse’s existence, a verse which has an uncountable number of 4D worlds making it 5D, the egg salamander had the sol emeralds which are weaker than the egg wizard as it took two characters at it’s (SE) level to defeat the egg wizard.
The time eater put the entire verse in white space.
Solaris needs no introduction as he scales above the infinite amount of timelines which each hold a 5D structure, so he is literally 7D.
Funny thing is that there are actually more feats that I had not mentioned.

I’m a huge Sonic fan and know very little about Dragonball but I side with Dragonball here. Those characters seem REALLY OP and strong and Sonic characters are formidable but no where near the levels of Dragonball, much less the prince of the entire race

I don't understand what you mean. Solaris is strong enough to destroy a universe and the super forms couldn't scratch him. They defeated him by attacking his consciousness. Then Sega reckoned the whole thing and labeled it non-canon, so it doesn't even count anymore.
KingDavidsaures Well there’s a difference between being written out of the continuity and being labeled non-canon, everything the characters in 06 did is something they can do in canon, they just erased time so it never happened, so taking feats from 06 is valid. And I said fought, not beat, they couldn’t kill him, and had to resort to targeting the conscience, but they still bashed against his form and caused damage, and they took hits and kept on going, so while they aren’t scaling to a universal level, they could be compared to maybe a fraction of it, a thousandth of a universal character is still significant

And sonic beat this guy in base. And it's shown that shadow is about equal to sonic in strength. So by my calculations, Base shadow is Multiversal+. Super is high Multiversal, Hyper is Low Complex Multiversal.

No. Shadow is really powerful, don't get me wrong, but compared to DBZ characters he's like what? Saiyan saga level. Here's how strong Shadow is:
- The space colony ARK was going to destroy the planet with the energy of all 7 emeralds and Shadow should scale to that.
- In Sonic Unleashed all 7 emerald split the earth into 7 pieces. Super Shadow should scale to that as well.
- In Sonic Battle Emerl was stated to be a planet buster with all 7 emeralds.
- In sonic Unleashed, Super Sonic managed to damage Dark Gaia's tentacles and later on his arms, and Dark Gaia was stated numerous times to be Planetary.
Here's how strong Vegeta is:
- Goku punched back an attack that was going to destroy all of Universe 7 which is 3 spacetime continuums.
- Vegeta destroyed the Hyperbolic time chamber which is endless according to Goku.
- Vegeta is comparable to UI Goku. UI Goku shook the whole WoV which doesn't contain spacetime. To shake a realm where space and time don't exist, you need to transcend space and time itself. So Vegeta is 5-D

But I'm not complaining! The most important thing you got right is that UI goku vs Super Sonic would be akin to SSJB Goku vs jiren but 1000000x worse. The moment the emeralds are pulled out, no ssj form would save them!

As impressive as Shadow is he just can't compare to the ridiculous power that DBZ characters have. Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta in his weakest form. That's something Shadow cannot do even in his Super Form. Proof of this is when Shadow used the Eclipse Cannon to destroy The Black Comet in STH. If Shadow could destroy planets he would have used his own power to destroy the Black Comet yet he needed the Eclipse Cannon's power to do so.

i'm sorry, i love the sonic franchise but i don't really agree with all the comments here. its important to not extrapolate upon non-existent evidence and blow feats out of proportion. if we use proper scaling, base shadow is small continental and 9.02x FTL, and his super form is large planetary and MFTL+. This really doesn't compare to Vegeta, who's shown 5-D feats and inaccessible speeds.

Shadow only defeated Solaris by attacking his consciousness. We do not know how durable the core was. But the manual says that the core is a weakspot. Super Sonic has consistently struggled against Planet busters.
Oops, well yes, Vegeta has never shown 5D feats but he scales to UI Goku who has shown 5D feats in the ToP when he shook the WoV. The Void doesn't have spacetime, to shake a realm that doesn't have space and time you need to transcend space and time. So UI Goku is 5D and Vegeta should scale to that.

@@pippomela Nooooooooooooooooooooo. Shadow is Planet/Star Level in base form. And he is consistently Solar System Level in Super. His universal feats are the results of outliers. And the reason they are outliers, is cause it makes no sense for Shadow to suddenly fight against a universal level threat, to struggle against a planet level threat. Vegeta consistently fights universal level threats, and when he fights less then universal level threats, he doesn't use his full power and holds back. So Shadow is not Multi--Universal and isn't universal either.

Wtf shadow defeated solaris in super form who is a multiversal being. Jiren and vegeta are only Universal beings. This is how CONONICALLY the fight would go.
But that’s not canon. But you’re right, Shadow would win because he can scale to Sonic so easily. Plus, Super Sonic is nearly multiversal which is a level that Super Shadow can scale to. Also, Even if Super Shadow’s striking strength is outclassed by Vegeta in his Super forms, Vegeta’s attacks wouldn’t even affect Super Shadow since he’s invulnerable.
