Glad I could help. I`ve always wanted to get my hand on a 9-5 with a dead TWICE. I believe that the main controller (assuming it's not the fault!) can be transplanted over to the donor board.

Installed GTIS on a Win 7 32 bit machine and it worked fine. When I closed the web browser and then opened GTIS again, I am presented with a black page. Nothing to click or see. Refreshing the page does nothing. Not sure where to go from here?

Okay I got stuck with command prompt after typing all that in multiple times, it follows up with, "command prompt cannot find path specified" I can follow it going through everything it listed going through my hard drive, I'm not sure what I'm missing?

To be fair, they probably all come out of the same factory in China. My one cost £180 a few years ago but I think the prices have crept up a little since then. My one came with a duff ODB socket, so I had to source a genuine one. Then after a year or 2, the cable failed so I had to get another clone cable.

Hello, I am having problems finding keygen files, I have downloaded the main globaltis file from a certain lovely Facebook group. However I have no idea where to find that GlobalTIS file you have open.
You may want to check the Tech2Wiki as a new system for registering was discovered after I made this video:- tech2wiki.com/content/techline/installing_globaltis.html#registration-of-globaltis
It's actually a bit awkward to find out. You'd need to request an SPS update on each individual module at a time, take the Tech2 back to the computer and then you'll be able to see if there is an update for that module. There are times however when you might NOT want to do the update, you'll need to read the info for each update. The one that springs to mind is the Drivers door lock module, the newer software is designed to work with the newer door locks only and shouldn't be applied to a car that still has the older lock design.
Thanks to you I've successfully enabled security access level 1 on my Tech 2 clone using the now installed Global TIS. It's allowed me to add parking sensors on my 2004 93 aero convertible. However, when trying to add an ICM2 instead of the original ICM1 or program pinch protection for the windows it's asking for security access via TIS 2000, which I don't yet have. I take it that TIS 2000, being older than Global TIS, requires an XP or Windows 7 install?
My tech II has a USB mod, I have the drivers configured and whatnot. The only trouble is the device will not power on when only plugged into my laptop. Hmmmm, Cheers :)
Error 500 is "Internal Server Error" and is probably one of the most useless HTTP errors there is! what ssytem are you tryingt o install it on? Windows 10/11, x86 or x64 etc?

I just ran through the setup. Everything seemed ok. When I clicked on the security access Icon, pushed the start download, the download started but when i pushed to open it, nothing happened. I didnt get the new window with the tech 2 option. Any ideas? Thanx million for this tutorial.

Sounds to me like the Tomcat service isn't running. Have you checked the GlobalTIS_TC6 service? Might also be worth checking that your firewall isn't blocking it.
No, not even close! It'll happily work on Win10 x64 & x86. I have noticed some trouble with the latest version (v148) on windows 10 after the April 2020 update. the older version shown here (v146) works fine though. I downgraded my Laptop to Windows 8 to continue to use it as I wanted the newer cars (2010-2011) that v148 supports.

@@thadonofdetroit7679 being a 32 bit program it really shouldn't have been installed in the x64 Program files directory unless you purposefully chose that. maybe you should confirm exactly where it's installed. You could also try stepping through the tree one step at a time. eg. cd program files, then cd GlobalTIS, then cd etc......

@@kalervotihvera6661 you might want to check it again, Java not loading can only be one of three things - 1. Java isn't installed properly, 2. the PATH variable isn't set properly & 3. There's more than one version of Java installed and it's loading in the newer version which isn't compatable. As long as the PATH is set properly though, this last one shouldn't be an issue. (I have it installed on the same machine as Minecraft which MUST run on a much newer version of Java)
Check SAAB forums like saabcentral.com & saabscene.com. There's also Facebook groups like Tech2 Enthusiasts Club. search either of these places and you'll find good clean downloads.

Now that you have GlobalTIS, you shouldn't need TIS2000 at all.

What OS are you running and is it 32 or 64 bit? Also what browser are you using?

Sounds like the PATH variable hasn't been set properly. Is your Windows 32bit (x86) or 64bit (x64)?

No Matter what java will not work ive tried everything it is the only version on my computer ive checked it over for weeks

Yeah, just tried it, but you might need to run it in compatibility mode.
