Ultimate Diesel Tuning I will try! as this is a great way to get more torque and power. As sometimes when I tow some heavy 3 ton+ machines at work. It Really struggles up those hills.
But till then keep uploading these amazing videos.

Had a double take watching this. Just got my Bt50 the other week and it’s identical to this, only a 2016 pre DPF model 🤙😄
Was hoping that maybe I already had a tune in it haha

Compared to the 2014 BT50 you guys previously uploaded you can really see how much the DPF clogs up the airflow of these turbocharged diesels. All I can say is that I'm glad I got a 2014 BT50 and not the new ones. ;) Another thing to note for anyone analysing the numbers is the peak power doesn't really matter, it's all about the increase across the whole power/torque curve. I would gladly give up the peak power gains to get more bottom end torque as that's where 99% of your driving is anyway.

Hi mate, we always do a DPF burn before we custom tune every vehicle. So the DPF in this BT was clean at the time of tuning. Never compare figures mate as all cars vary & all dynos read differently too. As tuners, we always talk in peak figures & percentages of results from tuning, but yes, bottom end torque is definitely where it's at. Almost all the cars that we tune will make more gains in torque down low than they do in peak.

@@UltimateDieselTuning Actually after looking back you're right. The 2014 BT50 I was referring to had way more mods than this one which is the difference in power. Sorry for my uninformed comment.

None, Dirk! We improve the factory tune & smooth the maps out.

@@UltimateDieselTuning More power is more boost and fuel thats simple.Your telling me a engine does not work harder??But hey if you said yes it would hurt business.....

@@dirkdiggler9082 there is a lot more involved than just boost & fuel mate. And the answer is a definite NO right there!

What’s something like that cost guys? And would Mazda void the warranty afterwards?

Hey Nathan, prices all vary mate. Best to give our quoting guys a call on 1800034373. Also, no, it does not void warranty - most of the vehicles that we custom dyno tune are still under new car warranty.
