There are very few differences from fast fashion to fashion house designs. Its mostly marketing especially in this day and age. They are all made in China, India, Vietnam ect… I worked as a designer, some factories have quality standards for the premium designers. Some fabrics are higher quality than others but at the end of the day, they are in business to make a profit. Its all mostly marketing
Mugler actually produces many of the leggings and stockings in Bulgaria. For this collab, they will most likely use already existing cutting patterns but cheaper workers, since the fabrics were not very expensive to begin with
as someone who has been a big fan of caldwallers mugler but has had it out of a uni students budget im extremely happy this collection is almost like a “best hits” of his time at mugler

As a person who is in between being sizes and leans more on the plus size I've liked Mugler but the sizes prevents some potential for me to purchase so this H&M collab is like a godsend. Hopefully, Mugler will see this as an opportunity for the main collection. Bigger people got money too!

Oh, I cannot wait for the lookbook to be released, so please do an in-depth video! To be honest, this is the first H&M collaboration to get me excited. I think the denim jackets look great, particularly the men‘s. And the Jerry Hall dress is literally my childhood dream! There is also a cropped black jacket that has caught my eye. However, it will be interesting to see if your prediction regarding prices is correct. The latest H&M Studio collection had a dress costing 599 €. I get the impression H&M and also Zara are attempting to move away from fast fashion and push their premium lines to the forefront. In any event - quite literally - I might have to drag myself to an actual store on the 11th of May and bring out my fiercest Black Friday biatch. 😂

I agree that the tailored pieces will be worth it. I'm particularly interested in the trousers and the black sheer paneled blazer. I'm screaming because this Mugler collection has been reminding me of Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy 2009 denim/black leather collection and I'm a poor so I can finally get the vibes. This even has Mariacarla Boscono in the campaign.
I will admit I am super excited for this - and it is because I am a size 12/14 so a lot of things in the regular line do not fit or i feel super snug in it. But when i saw the plus size model - i knew we were in for a big haul. I do want you to do the bigger one with the looks because that seems like fun.

I think they even mixed the main line with the H&M collab in the trailer. However, what I can appreciate is that apparently apart from a few bodysuits, everything will be labeled gender-neutral. Therefore also more size-inclusive.

Definitely an exciting collab to see. Waiting how it is gonna pan out in sales and resell cause of the price points (I remember seeing this happening in the Balmain collab. i personally think this collaboration being so similar to the mugler main line in terms of design goes both ways one would be as cassie mentioned - why should we pay luxury pricing for mugler if their designs are so easily replicated in fast fashion? another being that - this is mugler’s way of introducing the house and its aesthetic codes to a new consumer. i personally think mugler pieces can be intimidating for many to try, and the luxury price tag does not make it less intimidating. so with the h&m collaboration, it helps new consumers explore the possibility of starting a long term relationship with mugler
Yeah, it would be perfect if we could preview the whole collection before the launch. I think the belt would be nice for a person whose name starts with M 😁 I am interested if they bring interesting jewelry in this collection and I agree, sadly, I have bought the same bodysuit and a dress from the main line and to see it on everybody for quarter of the price it’s not cool… but it is what it is I believe that if you have a nice style you can make each piece in your own way and still be different ❣️

Definitely an exciting collab to see. Waiting how it is gonna pan out in sales and resell cause of the price points (I remember seeing this happening in the Balmain collab. Still seeing those dresses being sold for exorbitant amounts). Not too excited for the leather pieces cause it’s def gonna be faux 🤔 in love with the nipple pierced blazer remake tho.

i personally think this collaboration being so similar to the mugler main line in terms of design goes both ways
one would be as cassie mentioned - why should we pay luxury pricing for mugler if their designs are so easily replicated in fast fashion?
another being that - this is mugler’s way of introducing the house and its aesthetic codes to a new consumer. i personally think mugler pieces can be intimidating for many to try, and the luxury price tag does not make it less intimidating. so with the h&m collaboration, it helps new consumers explore the possibility of starting a long term relationship with mugler
Yeah, it would be perfect if we could preview the whole collection before the launch. I think the belt would be nice for a person whose name starts with M 😁 I am interested if they bring interesting jewelry in this collection and I agree, sadly, I have bought the same bodysuit and a dress from the main line and to see it on everybody for quarter of the price it’s not cool… but it is what it is I believe that if you have a nice style you can make each piece in your own way and still be different ❣️
